Crafting Motifs[edit]
Weapons and Armor can be crafted in a variety of styles. Crafting an item in a specific style requires a Style Material. Each character starts with the ability to create items in their own racial style, and other styles may be learned from special consumable books called motifs.
The first fourteen books along with the secondary ingredients may be randomly found in containers throughout the world. Other motifs and the associated materials might have other requirement.
Dungeons styles[edit]
With the exception of the Imperial City Prison and the White-Gold Tower, each DLC dungeons have an associated motif which may drop from the final bosses, with a garanteed drop for at least one player in Veteran difficulty and for all player in Hard Mode. The material may drop from any bosses of the associated dungeon.
Zones' daily quests styles[edit]
Both DLCs and chapters zones have associated motifs which may drop from the daily quests reward chests. Some of the daily quests giving such chests are Group Boss bounty, Delve exploration, World Event destruction or zone specific ones.
