Albinoscript Fangtome[edit]
- Fangtomes know not the importance or content of the books they inhabit. In the event that your rare first editions or vital academic texts have gained a tenant, simply befriend the tome via ample spine massages and a gentle ruffling of its pages.
The Albinoscript Fangtome is a tomeshell non-combat pet. It was first available in the Crown Store for 1,000 from September 14 to September 21, 2023. Its default name is "Grim Moira".
Alcaire Blue Cockeral[edit]
- The cockerels of Alcaire Castle uphold their noble duty and make as much noise during daybreak as possible. Their screeching continues well into the morning, waking any lucky enough to miss out on their earliest morning calls.
The Alcaire Blue Cockeral [sic] is available as a Superior-level reward in Sunken Trove Crates. Its default name is "Stunning Peter".
Alik'r Dune-Hound[edit]
The Alik'r Dune-Hound was available from the Crown Store for 400 from March 17, 2015 to June 3, 2017. It is now available as a reward for reaching level 24. Its default name is "Sandy".
Alinor Ringtail[edit]

The Alinor Ringtail was available from the Crown Store for 700 from August 16 to August, 2018. It returned to the store from October 10 to October 14, 2019, where it was offered at a discounted ? to ESO Plus members. It is also available as a Superior-level reward in Baandari Pedlar Crates. Its default name is "Desperado".
Alliance War Dog[edit]
- War dogs can be found in the armies of all three Alliances, mainly in the capacity of aides to the military police. They are as loyal to their masters as they are savage to their enemies.
The Alliance War Dog can be acquired as part of the Any Race, Any Alliance Bundle. Previously available from the Crown Store on their own for 1,000 , it is now part of the Any Race, Any Alliance Bundle for 2,000 . The appearance of the dog is specific to your character's alliance. When placed in a home, the dog's appearance depends on the allegiance of any player looking at it, so the same dog can simultaneously appear different to multiple players. Its default name is "Bruiser".

Amberdust Wamasu Hatchling[edit]

Ambersheen Vale Fawn[edit]
- Its amber-gold glimmer creates a warmth that one stablemaster states, "Can get you through chilly nights under the Skyrim stars." All it takes to keep one of these vale fawns at your side is a lick of honey now and again.
The Ambersheen Vale Fawn is available for free from the Crown Store throughout the two week long duration of the Heroes Reforged event. It was available on PC/Mac for 14 days starting March 8, 2021, and was be available for two weeks on PS4 and Xbox One starting March 16, 2021. Its default name is "Honeywine".
Ancestor Moth Swarm[edit]
- "The Ancestor Moths that accompany some mystically-attuned mortals are more than mere insects—they are animated by the loving spirits of the dearly departed, and may grant wisdom and awareness to those they visit." —Sister Terran Arminus
The Ancestor Moth Swarm is available in the Wild Hunt Crown Crates as an Epic-level reward. Its default name is "Fjyron", which loosely translates to "will to peace".
Ancestral Haj Mota[edit]
- In Telvanni lands, haj mota sometimes lay their eggs in broken catacombs or abandoned cemeteries. The hatchlings acquire a coating of green grave-mold on their shells and become sensitive to the presence of ghosts.

Ancient Dragon Hunter Wolf[edit]
- This wolf senses the impending arrival of Dragons, making it an excellent pet for veteran Dragon Hunters.
The Ancient Dragon Hunter Wolf was available in the Crown Store for 1,000 or as part of the Scalebreaker Collector's Bundle. It first became available on August 12 for PC, and on August 27 for consoles. Its default name is "Intuition".
Anthorbred Avalanche Dog[edit]
- With this loyal dog at your side, you have a companion who can help you make it through even the most treacherous of avalanches in Pale Pass and other mountainous areas … even if it has to pull you out from under a pile of fallen snow and detritus.
The Anthorbred Avalanche Dog is available in the Crown Store for 1,000 , starting July 9, 2020. Its default name is "Gertrude".
Apocryphal Bookwyrm[edit]
- Some claim these curious Daedric wyrms from Apocrypha devour books to vouchsafe the knowledge for their master. Others believe cultists of Hermaeus Mora use these creatures to hunt tomes long thought lost. Perhaps you know the truth?
The Apocryphal Bookwyrm was obtainable by pre-ordering the Necrom Deluxe Edition. Its default name is "Knows-Everything".
Appleback Salamander[edit]
- Brigands in Wayrest tried to use these creatures to help them harass nobles of that town, but after that plan backfired on them, they sold their stock. Lucky for you, these fiery salamanders receive loyalty training before being sold now.
The Appleback Salamander is an exotic pet. It was previously available to all ESO Plus members from October 7 - 21, 2022 once 100% was reached during the Heroes of High Isle event, after which it could be bought from the Crown Store for free. Its default name is "Toasty".
Arctic Fennec Fox[edit]
- The Arctic Fennec is native to the snowy shores of Skyrim's Sea of Ghosts, and the local Nords, when they spot one romping in the drifts, respond with the traditional oath of "Shor's Ears!"'
The Arctic Fennec Fox is available as an Epic-level reward in Flame Atronach Crates. Its default name is "Powder".
Ascadian Cliff Strider[edit]
- This bluish breed of Vvardenfell aerial reptile, known as the Azure or Ascadian Cliff Strider, is prized by flying-lizard fanciers as the prettiest and most ornamental of its species. Bonus: its screech terrifies crying babies into silence.
The Ascadian Cliff Strider was available in the Crown Store for 1,000 from May 31 to June 4, 2018. It returned to the store in 2022 from June 10th to June 17th, where it was offered to ESO Plus Members for a discounted 800 . Its default name is "Strides-So-High".
Ascadian Umber Sheep[edit]
- Legends claim the Red Mountain's first eruption not only gave brown sheep their current hue, but also imbued them with the fortitude to thrive despite hardship. Knowing their sheep remain placid while in danger, many Dark Elves believe these tales.
The Ascadian Umber Sheep is available as a Superior-level reward in the Grim Harlequin Crates. Its default name is "Sundeath".
Ashbone Echalette[edit]
- Even at this small size, this echalette is rather vicious. It's not afraid to use its tiny tusks to ram perceived threats, other echalettes, or really anything that moves. It's not a very effective tactic, but it is strangely cute.
The Ashbone Echalette is available in the Crown Store individually for 1,000 , or as part of the Scions of Ithelia Collector's Bundle alongside the Ashbone Sabre Cat for 4,000 . It entered the Crown Store on March 11, 2024 for PC, and March 26, 2024 for consoles. Its default name is "Tusker".
Ashen Cliff Strider[edit]
- Natives of the Ashlands of Vvardenfell, these flightless, winged reptiles use their pale coloration to hide amidst that barren terrain. They can be trained, however, and follow their owners almost anywhere.
The Ashen Cliff Strider is available as a Superior-level reward in Buoyant Armiger Crown Crates. Its default name is "Graywing".
Ashen Scar Jerboa[edit]

Ashsorrow Vvardvark[edit]
- These ashen vvardvarks are much adored by Ashlander children. Their long tongues hungrily searching Morrowind's volcanic vents for food make for an entertaining sight.

Atmoran Chub Loon[edit]
- According to Nord legend, in its native land of Atmora this Chub Loon is much larger, as tall as two warriors and with a squawk that starts avalanches. It took mighty Ysgramor a day and a night to wrestle one down from Shivering Glacier. What, you doubt?

Atmoran Snow Bear Cub[edit]

The Azure Fledgling Gryphon pet can be obtained on PC/Mac only via the use of a promotional code included with the official gryphon plush from Gaming Heads. Its default name is "Cerulean".
