Bots

If you're working in .NET, DotNetWikiBot is a good place to start for coding a bot—that's what both rpeh and I have used. Outside of that, I can't help you much. I'm coding my own .NET-based bot framework as well, similar to DotNetWikiBot, but with all the wiki work and everything else I've had to deal with lately, that project has been put on hold indefinitely. I'll probably pick it back up again in 6-12 months when the wiki has significantly slowed down again. You might also want to have a look at Creating a bot and other related pages at Wikipedia. There's a section at the bottom of that page that details different frameworks for creating bots in each of the common languages. – Robin Hood↝talk 06:42, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Cool, I'll look into it. I'm leaning towards Java, which is the language I'm most comfortable in. I'm working with C++ for my school work, and it's really pissing me off. It may be a while before I have the time to invest in such a project however. Your new sandbox

Hey, I was browsing through the Recent Changes and I noticed your sandbox for an Alchemy section in Lore. This has been needed for a while. Maybe you could add icons for the individual ingredients, either one for each game or just one icon for them all. Just a suggestion. ?• JA^Talk 05:02, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
