Welcome![edit]

Hello Runs-in-Rivers! Welcome to UESPWiki! It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! Jeancey (talk) 20:25, 4 June 2014 (GMT)

POV[edit]

Hey! The quest walkthroughs you've been adding are great! One thing we ask, however, is that you use second-person instead of third-person. This means that instead of using "The Vestige" you should simply use "You". Other than that they have been great! Jeancey (talk) 20:17, 6 June 2014 (GMT)

Advice[edit]

Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to have been making multiple edits to a page by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. •WoahBro►talk 05:21, 8 June 2014 (GMT)

"Empty" Tags[edit]

Hi there! Thanks for adding so much quality information to the wiki, especially the ESO quests. However, could you please remove the "Empty" tags (they'll be up at the top of the page) once you've added your contributions (after the header is filled out is fine)? This will save an extra step for the Patrollers and Recent Changes-stalkers. likelolwhat talk lulzy to me 22:10, 1 July 2014 (GMT)

Quest Descriptions[edit]

Hello! Thank you for all your hard work in contributing to the wiki, those quest walkthroughs are great :) Just a reminder, though, that when you add descriptions for quests, please make sure you end them with a period (.). We do this because they are complete sentences and we strive to be consistent with other quest pages. —<({QT>> 08:00, 30 August 2014 (GMT)

Also, please don't add quest descriptions next to the {{Quest Link}} template (like you did here). Quest descriptions are supposed to be added to the individual quest pages. Thanks! —Legoless (talk) 23:11, 28 September 2014 (GMT)

I've noticed the hard work you've been doing in the Online namespace, and wanted to show my appreciation! Thank you for all you've done for the site! --AKB Talk Cont Mail 22:56, 28 September 2014 (GMT)

As an aside, perhaps you might want to make a user page at some point? You're almost at 500 edits, I'm sure the other users would like to see that red link to go away from recent changes. No pressure if you don't want to, of course. You're currently the number four top editor to never create a user page, and you'll break the record with less than 100 more edits. If nothing else, you can at least shoot for that title :) --AKB Talk Cont Mail 22:56, 28 September 2014 (GMT)

Aspect Ratios[edit]

Hi Runs-in-Rivers, thanks for the recent image uploads. In the future, would you mind cropping them to the standard aspect ratios? See here for help. Place images should have a 4:3 ratio, while images of NPCs should be 1:1 (i.e. square). If it doubt, always upload as 4:3, since images can always be cropped. —Legoless (talk) 17:32, 29 November 2014 (GMT)

Thank You[edit]

Hey there! I just wanted to thank you for the work you've done on the Ebonheart Pact quest pages. I don't know if you're active at all anymore or if you're even still with the wiki, but the work you've done has really reduced the legwork involved in finishing up the EP quest pages. I can't count the amount of quests I've worked on where you've written a description or a walkthrough. MolagBallet (talk) 00:16, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
