Difficult[edit]

Unpleasantly difficult for my level 21 SpellSword.Herwin 07:50, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

Agreed this location seems to have a high concentration of higher level NPCs compared to similar areas. I ran into no fewer then 2 Bandit Chiefs, 5 Bandit Marauder's and the rest were mostly Highwaymen. Only saw 2 Bandit Outlaws and 3 Bandits and they were all in the Courtyard. One of the Marauders I ran into started casting Expert Level Destruction spells (Wall of Flames and Incinerate) that took me out in 2 hits (level 26 Bosmer Assassin). Also besides the few low level bandits in the courtyard all of them were carrying high level weapons (Dwemer, Orcish and Elven) Lord Eydvar 07:06, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
At least as of now, the Infiltration walkthrough includes a number of combat tips and strategies for avoiding having to deal with large numbers of enemies simultaneously. It may be useful to some players who find this place difficult. --JRTalk E-mail 03:08, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
As a follow up, my level 28 storm-mage didn't have any problems... but dual cast maxed out Thunderbolt does a lot of damage rofl. Lord EydvarTalk 01:55, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
The easiest way I have found is to take care of the bandits outside is to clear the boss at the top of the spiral stairs, then exit through the trap door for another chest, then jump carefully onto one of the crenials and start sniping with a bow, if they start hitting you and your health get a bit low then just walk back to the middle of the roof so that they can not get a shot at you and use a spell then return to sniping from on top of the crenial. the bandits never come up to where you are they all stay in the courtyard areas, once they are all dead go back inside and to the exit to the courtyard, collect any treasure.... Companion Quest[edit]

Should some mention be made that the Companion quest 'Striking the Heart' can send you here? I've just visited the place and all the bandits were replaced with Silver Hand, and although I found the leader in the tower the people in the basement were particularly nasty. Godlessmunkey 13:32, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

I believe that is one of those quest that have too many locations to mention all of them. —MortenOSlash (talk) 21:38, 19 November 2012 (GMT)

Possible Magic: the Gathering Reference[edit]

This, along with the word Krosis may be references to two of the 5 Dragon lords from Magic: the Gathering. There were five. One was named Crosis, the Purger http://magiccards.info/pd3/en/5.html (with a "C" but pronounced the same) and another was Treva, the Renewer http://magiccards.info/pvc/en/49.html. — Unsigned comment by Jereme (talkcontribs) at 13:34 on February 14, 2012

Krosis was mentioned here, but Treva was not. If Treva is not a word in the Dragon language, then you should mention it in a new section here. --Velyanthe 21:03, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Ancient Technology[edit]

If seen as memorable, the fact that Ancient Technology can send you here could be noted. — Unsigned comment by 108.0.108.20 (talk) at 07:02 on 13 August 2012 (GMT)

I was sent here for Ancient Technology as well. I came to this page looking for a way in and discovered the Infiltration quest, so I started that. MutantPlatypus (talk) 16:41, 16 November 2012 (GMT)
It's ok to mention this here on the talk page, but it is covered on the main page with the note under "Related Quests" about radiant quests. If this quest interacts with another quest at the location in a problematic or interesting way, it may deserve mention on the article page. --JR (talk) 17:16, 16 November 2012 (GMT)
