Talk to Storn glitch

It dosen't make this complete and he dosent make the quest finish. Bethesda need to patch this. — Unsigned comment by 90.213.195.67 (talk) at 16:15 on 15 April 2013 (GMT)

Please be more specific on what glitch you have found. If information about a glitch you have found is going to be part of the UESP wiki, you have to describe it in a way it can be tested and identified.
By the way, if you are trying to get through to Bethesda here, be prepared to be disappointed. The UESP site is not a part of Bethesda. —MortenOSlash (talk) 16:46, 15 April 2013 (GMT)
Talking to Storn is the last "mission" in THE FATE OF SKAAL after you talk to him it doesn't mark the quest as completed

attacked causes spazing out

when ever my character is hit by any weapon, except bows or magic, my character just goes *poof* to a different part of the cell, the worst bit is when i'm outside, getting ambushed by bounty hunters is a problem because i once traveled from riften to solitude, t was very far ABOVE the floor so i fall, die, load he auto-save, but it happens again and again because it saved in the same second as i got hit, then the rest of my saves decided to corrupt, possbly because of that, has anyone else had this issue? 86.159.86.165 20:11, 27 May 2013 (GMT)

Are you playing on PC with mods? This sounds like a mod gone haywire. If the answer is yes, try uninstalling some or all mods to see if it clears up. The data in your old saves shouldn't "corrupt" unless you save over them. What's probably happening is the old saves are also trying to run under the bad mod. --Xyzzy Talk 20:25, 11 June 2013 (GMT)

How does potion glitch work?

I don't get it. Is it a bug or unavoidable exploit? Why does fortify restoration potion improves enchants? 95.25.236.34 06:42, 19 June 2013 (GMT)

Restoration will power up all crafted items. But this glitch seems to be fixed, you can only fortify your Restoration up to a certain amount (tested on XBox360) — Unsigned comment by 80.149.113.199 (talk) at 13:27 on 10 September 2013‎

Vampire Armor glitch - moved from article

While wearing vampire armor, you can disenchant it and keep the armor using these steps:

*#Equip the vampire armor.

*#Use an enchanting table.

*#Disenchant your vampire armor.

Can someone else make this work? I tried it with regular vampire armor (xx0191f3 - not able to be disenchanted) and Vampire Armor of Quickening (xx015cc5 - disenchanted and destroyed). --Xyzzy Talk 01:02, 11 July 2013 (GMT)

Skjor of the undead

I'm the leader of the companions and after I upgraded my smithing 5-6 levels it lagged up halfway through, when I finished it for some reason Skjor was back and he kept saying "You needed to prove yourself, whelp" and was able to give me repeatable quests just as if he never died, has anyone else come across this? (TheUnlivingDead) (04:45, 11 July 2013 (GMT))

Skjor respawning is a well-known bug documented on his NPC page. The detail of him offering quests after death isn't mentioned there, so you can add that part in. — ABCface 04:50, 11 July 2013 (GMT)

I managed to escape the game boundaries! And the White-Gold Tower really exists!

Before I begin *unnecessary speech ahead* I am aware that in the past, some of my contributions have been somewhat pointless, albeit stupid. Secondly, I'm not quite sure if I'm posting in the right part of the site (my apologies if I'm not) But what I have found, not 30 minutes ago, is completely real. (This is in complete detail, sorry for the lengthy story.)

Anyway, has anybody ever seen that video on youtube with the guy who manages to get over an end-of-map gate using the pc console's "tcl" command and can see a low resolution texture of the White-Gold (Direnni) tower? Well, I have found that for myself, but with one difference... I'm on the Xbox. So no console commands for me, just my accidental and spontaneous ability to break games.

*I would also like to note that my Xbox is in no way modified, and as explained below, I was not using anything such as a modded save from Modio.

I was wandering with a brand new khajiit character I had made (I'm trying to squeeze as much from the game as possible) and I thought I would run through a gate that I had come across. Now, looking at my map for the first time, I realised that I wasn't outside Helgen (as I originally suspected) but that I was at one of the gates leading out of Skyrim itself. So, I thought I would test the game and see how far I could run before the game's scripts halted me in my tracks (surely this is part of everyone's curiosity?), and just as I was running towards the gate, I decided in all my cruelty to kill a fox just to the side of the road for its fur, mainly out of boredom, because I wasn't really anticipating what was going to happen next.

*I guess that running off the road and taking an arc around the gate helped me escape the game world.

So, carrying on running, after two or three minutes, I started to realise that the trees around me were getting scarce, there were no animals or harvestable plants, and no flawless Bethesda detail -- it had dawned on me that I was already out of the game's boundaries. Still carrying on, the shrubs that you see generated on the ground in places had stopped, there were now no trees, and still no animals. I was wondering at this point why the game hadn't told me that I couldn't go any further, but I shrugged it off, assuming it would have happened a bit later on.

*I just want to say here, I find this very interesting. I know for a fact that Bethesda cannot anticipate EVERY single player's intentional routes and paths and block them off, but I like exploring unfinished parts of games, it gives me a hint as to how they look through production.

Anyway, the ground now was just large portions of the repetitive forest floor tile, and mountain tile, and some rocks and boulders scattered on steep hills. I decided to check the map. In doing so, I realised that I was completely out of the game map, hidden under the clouds and thick fog that extend out of the side of the map to show apparently inaccessible areas. I decided to carry on running, and by this point the game was starting to lock up, I would presume from loading so many low resolution background graphics into view, since I was now on the complete edge of the map! I made a save right there and carried on. I was at the very South West of the game world, so had to go east, because jumping off the end of the map meant falling hundreds of feet into an endless sea. I climbed a small hill, and when I moved my camera from 3rd person to 1st, I realised that I was staring right at the White-Gold Tower (the huge tower extending from atop the Imperial Palace in Oblivion). I would upload a picture but I'm not too sure how, so if an admin reads this, I can e-mail you the pictures, or I could try and take the actual save and zip it in a .rar and mail it.

Finally, it's quite ironic, because Bethesda said they aren't making another D/LC package for Skyrim, but those textures have been hidden away since the release of the game (I assume), and I've never personally seen the magnificent tower from atop even the mighty Throat of the World. It's also really unfortunate that I can't get to it (yet) because I fall through some of the unfinished textures into water below. If anybody else has seen something along these lines, I encourage you to post about it! :) AcE x EPiiCzZ (talk) 02:01, 15 July 2013 (GMT)

As "they" say, a picture's worth a thousand words. If you could use a cameraphone or some other digital camera and take a picture of your TV with the tower on the screen, then upload it to your computer, then to the site, it would go along way towards proving your claim. Otherwise, this just seems like a wild, unsubstantiated claim, and I doubt any admin is going to make the extra effort to deal with it. The procedure for uploading an image can be found here. --Xyzzy Talk 06:30, 28 July 2013 (GMT)
I've seen the White-Gold Tower in Skyrim too. I documented my experience at Skyrim talk:Maps#Area south of Skyrim. --Morrolan (talk) 19:16, 9 September 2013 (GMT)
The view of the Tower is pretty well documented (see Skyrim:Elder_Scrolls_Historical_References). I was more interested in the OPs ability to escape the boundaries of the game. You, the OP, and others have been able to do it, so it may be worth documenting in the article if a repeatable method can be established. --Xyzzy Talk 03:51, 10 September 2013 (GMT)
Well, I'm not sure what you mean by game boundaries. The area I found, which I'm certain is the same area that the OP here found, is southeast of Southfringe Sanctum, and essentially you just get to it by climbing the mountain and going down the other side. There are no fast-travel points down there of course, but it's just walking. I didn't even need a horse, although with a horse it probably would have been a bunch easier. There were no "can't go that way" messages like what you get if you're trying to reach High Rock from western Haafingar. Walking through it, it feels like an unfinished area that just got left in because the developers ran out of time to put whatever it was they had planned to put in there. --Morrolan (talk) 04:55, 10 September 2013 (GMT)
Well, I just spent almost an hour probing the southern boundary of Skyrim from Stendarr's Beacon in the east to Cracked Tusk Keep in the west, and couldn't find any location where I could escape the game boundaries. If somebody could document a repeatable way to do this, that'd be greeeeaaaat. --Xyzzy Talk 00:27, 16 September 2013 (GMT)

() It's not easy to find. I'll try to retrace my steps and document the path in detail. I got to it by travelling east of Southfringe, and heading up over a mountain. --Morrolan (talk) 13:33, 16 September 2013 (GMT)

I just walked on the road from Refugee's Rest through the gate and into Morrowind. The only oddity that I can think of is that there were two versions of Dawnguard installed on my Xbox 360. I deleted both of them when I discovered the Marked for Death word glitch and I haven't reinstalled that DLC yet. Both Hearthfire and Dragonborn have been downloaded and the game is installed to the hard drive. Any insight? --Zuuk (talk) 01:15, 2 January 2014 (GMT)
I'm sorry for a lack of posting, I completely forgot about this article. I will have a picture by tomorrow, and I will try and describe in detail what to do. Once again, I apologise for the horrendously long article. I hadn't replied because I assumed it would be dismissed as false. AcE x EPiiCzZ (talk) 00:16, 13 January 2014 (GMT)

Odd Combination Glitch - moved from article

Moved from article:
"Very rarely when whelding a blades sword a HUD may desplay showing “was removed” and the characters right foot will have a ice spike steam effects that remains permainently. And in the enchantment screen a ‹missingname› idem will appear which cannot be interacted with."
added by Chaoarren at 13:58, 1 August 2013‎

I've removed the above from the article because it's unclear exactly what the glitch actually is or what the cause may be. As written, it's hard to understand and seems like it may be something that falls under the situation at the top of the page: "If you choose to do a bizarre and unpredictable set of actions, it is likely that the game's response will also be bizarre and unpredictable." It could easily be a combination of different effects from doing a few odd things in a row. Unless the user can explain the situation in more detail and in a more comprehensible manner, I don't think it should be added back to the page. — ABCface 17:57, 1 August 2013 (GMT)

whiterun glitch

on Xbox 360, I did the escape boundaries of whiterun glitch. while exploring around the city walls about where the halls of the dead are outside the wall I came across an invisible door/cave with no name, which I entered and I was greeted with a black screen and what appears to be a really poor quality version of the smoke loading screen background. what have I discovered? — Unsigned comment by 120.151.83.209 (talk) at 14:13 on 18 August 2013 (GMT)

Did it look like the area described here? That's the only spot I can think of. The door leads nowhere on PC, but I guess it does on Xbox. Vely►t►e 01:13, 19 August 2013 (GMT)

Alternate Item Duplication Glitch

Item Duplication Glitch.

Items are duplicated in the following way:

Drop items on the ground. Order a follower to pick them up. Leave the cell. Re-enter and the items should be there on the floor as well as in your followers inventory. (Tested on Xbox)

Note that it's likely the items will now be deemed 'stolen' owing to the fact they're now considered the property of your follower.

I first noticed this when removing the stolen tag from some items. My Character is not in the Thieves Guild so I would drop stolen items and have my follower pick them up. She is also my wife and so with the items in her inventory I was able to buy them back, thus clearing the stolen tag.

Purple smoke glitch

This youtube video shows it: Smoke Bug in Skyrim?

I personally got this glitch when activating some of the Black Books in Solstheim (and also had a "was added" notification in upper left corner - just "was added", without item\spell name)

And there's a solution in the comments:

player.addspell 000ED2FC

player.removespell 000ED2FC

I think it is worth adding to the page, but I'm not sure to which section --Ubeogesh (talk) 03:39, 27 August 2013 (GMT)

I verified that using player.addspell ed2fc adds the Storm Atronach Abilities FX, which gives a purple smoke effect, as well as the "static charge" appearance that Storm Atronach's have. If this is a recurring glitch, and it sounds like it is, then yes, it should be added to the article. If it can occur with more than 1 Black Book, it seems that Dragonborn:Black_Book_(quest) would be the best place to add it. --Xyzzy Talk 04:07, 27 August 2013 (GMT)

Heavy Fog glitch in Morthal

I've encountered this heavy fog graphic that's been oddly placed between Highmoon Hall and the bridge leading to the lumber mill. It won't go away even after using clear skies. Has anyone else had such a glitch like that?

Superlogan7437 (talk) 06:23, 2 September 2013 (GMT)

I have not had it, but could you specify what platform you are playing? If PC, do you have any add-ons or mods installed? —MortenOSlash (talk) 20:09, 2 September 2013 (GMT)
Probably a texture-related glitch. Does it move or is the fog just idle? Guard of DragonsSpeak To Me 20:12, 2 September 2013 (GMT)

"Easier method" for infinitely powerful items - moved from article

Easier method found:

- Prerequisites:
+ Ingredients to craft a lot of Fortify Restoration Potions
+ One armor item enchanted with Fortify Alchemy Perk (magnitude doesn't matter)
- Method:
+ Equip Fortify Alchemy Perk armor and create 10 (or so) Fortify Restoration Potions
+ Un-equip Fortify Alchemy Perk armor (leave un-equipped) and create 10 (or so) Fortify Restoration Potions
+ You should now have 2 types of Fortify Restoration Potions
+ Drink one of each type of Fortify Restoration Potion after the other to see the magnitude increase exponentially

This needs verification. --Xyzzy Talk 16:24, 7 September 2013 (GMT)

I verified this on the PS3, with the 1.9 patch (and Hearthfire) installed. Yes, you do not need any specially powered gear to do this either, so that's a bonus. ANY 1 or more pieces of alchemy gear will work as long as you get two stacks of different Resto potions. However, you will start at a higher level with better gear.
After alternating drinking from the stacks, I drank two from the same stack and it put the multiplication factor back to square one. So just be careful that you alternate between them and you can get 10,000% boost in under a minute. Just leave enough time to make whatever the original goal was. Probably a few F.Enchant potions?
The drawback I see to this method is in the timing. You have to be able to drink all the Resto potions AND make the potions you want, all before the first potion wears off, I'm pretty sure - though I didn't time my experiment. I'll try again, next time I play...

Shooting off steam

For some reason, there are four jets of steam constantly coming from my character, and a bunch of sparks coming off all over his body. It started happening while I was in black Reach, and I think it started happening just as I jumped into a pool of water. 1. Why is this happening? 2. How do I fix it? I'm on the X-box, so I can't use console commands. — Unsigned comment by 147.124.202.148 (talk) at 00:12 on 9 September 2013 (GMT)

This sounds similar to the Purple Smoke glitch mentioned above. It may have a similar cause: your character acquiring an effect for some reason. Were you in the process of being attacked by something, especially something that attacks with magic, when this happened? Have you tried using the wait command or sleeping in a bed? If you have the option, you could also try doing something that transform your character's form, like turning into a werewolf or vampire. If those don't work, you may have to reload a save from before this started happening. --Xyzzy Talk 00:51, 9 September 2013 (GMT)
Thanks, Xyzzy. The Werewolf trick worked. I had tried all the other things and the last save was a long ways back. — Unsigned comment by 147.124.202.148 (talk) at 01:27 on 11 September 2013
Nevermind. When I put my armor back on it started up again. Is the Ebony Mail Glitched or something? — Unsigned comment by 147.124.202.148 (talk) at 02:01 on 11 September 2013
The Ebony Mail does have an aura effect that looks like greenish-black smoke when you are sneaking, but there's no sparks involved. I don't see any bugs in its article that mention anything like this. --Xyzzy Talk 03:16, 11 September 2013 (GMT)
Yeah, it's not the Ebony Mail. I did the werewolf temp fix again and put on all my armor except for the Mail, and I still started sparking. And the smoke isn't the Mail's Aura effect. It's white, and literally shooting off in four concentrated jets. Kind of like a smaller version of the Steam Centurion's attack. — Unsigned comment by 76.112.24.103 (talk) at 06:29 on 14 September 2013
The effect is from dwarven centurions. The only thing I'm certain removes those effects is a certain scene during the "Alduin's Bane" part of the main quest. If you already did that quest and you can't load a previous save, I fear you won't be able to permanently remove the effect, unless it exists something else in the game like that scene I wrote about. Cridus (talk) 20:49, 15 September 2013 (GMT)

New guard glitch

I was messing around in Castle Dour and discovered a new glitch. There are 2 Imperial soldiers taking archery practice in the main courtyard with Captain Aldis. I had acquired a 10 gold bounty for dropping a sword on the ground in the city, and was going around to each guard to get them to ignore it. When I stepped between one of the guards and the practice target after he drew his bow, he paused, presumably so that he wouldn't shoot me. I then walked up to him and activated him. He kept his bow drawn while he said the normal "Wait. I know you" thing, but his arrow disappeared. After I convinced him to ignore my bounty, he just stood there, bow fully drawn, until I sprinted into him or invaded his personal space, causing him to step back. I think this glitch is too minor and too specific to include in the article, but thought I'd document it here, 'cuz I've nothing better to do. --Xyzzy Talk 01:38, 9 September 2013 (GMT)

Removing stolen tag - fixed?

I tried removing the stolen tag from the Glass Bow of the Stag Prince by reverse pickpocketing it into the inventory of 2 different Whiterun guards at Whitewatch Tower, then stealth killing them. Both times, the stolen tag remained. I checked Skyrim:Patch and the list of fixes at Skyrim:USKP and didn't see anything on either page that said this had been patched. Can anybody verify that this exploit still works, especially on the PC with USKP installed? --Xyzzy Talk 17:22, 22 September 2013 (GMT)

Well, I can't help you with USKP, but I did notice this: If you complete Search and Seizure by stealing Ogmund's amulet, and then Ondolemar dies, the amulet will be on his body. However, if you loot it from him, it will still be marked as stolen.
which I then noted on Ondolemar's page. It sounds like Bethesda may have closed this loophole. --Morrolan (talk) 18:53, 22 September 2013 (GMT)
NO MORE STOLEN TAG!; I found out how to remove the stolen tag from the glass bow of the stagg prince;
1. Steel said bow from said NPC;( DO NOT UPGRADE THE BOW OR THIS WILL NOT WORK! )
2. Go to, and at the least the outside parts, of Bloodskall Barrow and find at least a reaver outlaw archer;
3. Reverse pickpocket said bow onto said reaver outlaw archer NPC;
4. Also please make sure that you have at least three things Done (A) throw voice shout, (B) High Sneeking, (C) High pickpocket Skills, or something Equivalent;
5. After reverse pickpocketing said bow onto said reaver outlaw archer, use the throw voice shout to get said reaver outlaw archer to equip and use the bow;
6. KILL said reaver outlaw archer and take back the glass bow of the stagg prince without the "stolen tag" still attached!– By Mobious.— Unsigned comment by Mobious (talkcontribs) at 22:26 on 15 February 2014

Infinitely powerful items exploit fixed?

The article says that the infinitely powerful items exploit was addressed by USKP v1.3, but I checked the list twice and couldn't find where this was addressed. Am I just completely blind? I also did a cursory search of the official fixes and didn't find anything. --Xyzzy Talk 18:51, 18 October 2013 (GMT)

I was thinking the same thing when I was looking down the list. My best guess is that it must be a result of the "Numerous magic effects were assigned to the wrong schools, or inappropriately assigned to one at all, resulting in a number of unexpected and outright wrong results" fix - so it must remove Fortify Alchemy from the Restoration school --Bel3338 (talk) 01:35, 22 October 2013 (GMT)

Talking out of sync.

I know the talking animation of NPCs occasionally goes out of sync with the voice track (usually a second late), but I'm finding in my current game nearly 50% of the lines spoken are out of sync. Yeah, it's not a game breaking glitch, but it's getting really annoying... And it's not just like it's a case of reload and it'll fix it; I've been playing this one character game for a few weeks, obviously turning it on and off each day, and it's always this bad. Is there any reason why this one save game is so out of line? And is there any way of fixing it? Oh, and I'm also on Xbox, so it won't be the fault of a mod. Any info much appreciated!! AyaHawkeye (talk) 01:56, 27 October 2013 (GMT)

EDIT: Could it just be that my Xbox is over 6 years old and it just can't cope with the game? AyaHawkeye (talk) 01:59, 27 October 2013 (GMT)
The voice track plays at a set rate, which is supposed to sync with the visual movements. Anything that could cause the visuals to lag will make them lose their sync. I don't know anything about how the Xbox's graphics work, but is there a possibility that the graphics are being overloaded by something, such as overheating?--Xyzzy Talk 06:22, 27 October 2013 (GMT)
I don't know if it's overheating, it happens right from the beginning, as soon as I start the game so the unit hasn't heated up yet. Could the age of the console mean it's breaking down? I hope not, I can't afford a new one :( AyaHawkeye (talk) 07:11, 27 October 2013 (GMT)
Yes, the age of your Xbox could be the issue. Not much you can do about that, though. Enjoy it while it lasts :) --Xyzzy Talk 13:53, 27 October 2013 (GMT)

() Do you have a 120Hz TV (like me)? Most 120Hz TVs have a setting where they do some image processing on their inputs and try to make the motion smoother, and it's set to on by default. This is a terrible idea, for several reasons, but one of them is the problem it causes with videogames being out of sync; there's always a slight delay on the video display because of the smoothing process, but not on the audio coming from the XBox. So they wind up just ever so slightly out of sync, and you don't notice the difference when the audio is of a dragon shouting but you do notice it when it's Lydia talking. If you have a 120Hz TV then try flipping through your TV settings, find something that talks about motion blending and turn it off.

Leave it off all the time. 120Hz is a nice feature for watching 24-frame-per-second Blu-rays but the image processing makes them muddy. --Morrolan (talk) 01:49, 28 October 2013 (GMT)

Can't hybridize myself

I don't know why but I finished the Dawnguard questline and killed Harkon, did the companion quest until they needed to meet you at the Underforge BUT the regular way to becoming Hybrid doesn't work. Here's how I did it. I turned into a regular vampire via Sanguinare Vampiris first. Went to full hunger as vampire. After that, asked Serana to turn me into a Vampire Lord. I went to the underforge and perfectly timed pressing the button to drink the werewold blood and the VL transformation. Boom. I end up outside the underforge as a werewolf and then the Vampire Lord form bursts out of me. I quickly go back to revert form but instead of turning into my human form, I revert back into a werewolf. I black out and Aela speaks to me about killing some Siler hand people but I'm no longer a hybrid but just a pure werewolf. I don't know why because this is how all those Youtube videos do it. I tried loading older saves and then doing it again but it doesn't work. I turn back into a werewolf instead of a human when I revert form from VL. But I did it before this way and it only seems to work on that save file but I don't want to use that because I'm far into the game now to load to such an old file.

Here's another thing, I tried to fix the glitch by putting in the console command "player.setrace nordracevampire/nord" after I revert form from my VL (and just right before I turn into a werewolf again) so that Serana could bite me again. But this didn't work because from then on out, after I blacked out, I was in human form BUT each time I transform into a VL and revert form, I always turn back into a Werewolf, never being able to become human form again. And even in werewolf form when I press the powers button to roar, it transforms me into a VL instead of roaring. I can use my VL powers in vampire form except using revert form would turn m back into werewolf. Basically, I can alternate from VL to Werewolf and vise versa indefinitely but never back to human form unless I waited out the werewolf transformation to wear off... and even then sometimes it glitches that the werewolf form never wears off and I end up alternating from VL to werewolf but NEVER being able to turn human form ever. So this setrace solution didn't work at all.

I tried another thing, I loaded another save, I got Sanguinare Vampiris, waited the right time and went to the underforge... I drank the beast blood perfectly just in time when my screen turned red and said that my blood boils and I'm not a vampire. Surely enough, I come out of the underforge as a werewolf and blacked out and woke up with Aela as a regular Vampire-Werewolf hybrid. BUT being a regular vampire, I have no vampire lord form and I want to take it a step further. I went to the Volkihar balcony where the Soul Cairn portal was and asked Serana to turn me into a VL since the game doesn't recognize me as a vampire still. Just before she bites me and says "I promise I'll try to make this as painless as possible. Hold Still" I press my power buttons and turn into a werewolf. She still continues to bite me and it says "Vampire Lord added" BUT from being a werewolf I revert into a human form vampire immediately. Checking my Powers and Active effects tabs, I have no Beast form skill or the werewolf Resist disease active. This method completely flushed out my werewolf powers so this doesn't work either.

I was desperate and did another method. Before Serana bit me at the Soul Cairn portal room, I put in "player.setrace werewolfbeastrace" and spoke to Serana to make me a VL. She bit me. Vampire lord added it says. I turn back to human form by putting in "player.setrace nordvampirerace/nord". I end up just being a vampire and having no beastform or werewolf resist disease.

All these different methods to turn into a hybrid VL-werewolf like all the Youtube video says but none of it works and I don't know why this is going on because I never patched after the 1.9 patch. What's going on guys? And no I'm am not using any mods. You mean the Silver hand quest? No. What good will it do? I tried once but it was useless because I was permanently shifting from VL to werewolf form and being unable to turn back to human form without using console commands. — Unsigned comment by 207.38.160.176 (talk) at 14:07 on 2 November 2013 (GMT)
I'm semi-guessing, but there are probably scripts tied with that quest to complete the werewolf transformation and unlock all capabilities. I know you can do the quest as a human by waiting out the transformation and then entering the dungeon, but there might be hidden scripts interfering with the deliberate glitch. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 14:17, 2 November 2013 (GMT)
I really don't think so. Youtube videos show that the essential part of becoming a hybrid is the underforge thing. Anything past that won't do anything for the hybridization except leveling your werewolf/vampire skill tree. — Unsigned comment by 207.38.160.176 (talk) at 14:29 on 2 November 2013 (GMT)

Out of sync glitch

So I became out of sync with my player, my aim won't move or anything, when I use the sticks I can see my character moveing in the back ground. But once I move him out of my view he's gone, I have Tryed saving and reloading ect and it still has not fixed this. This is not a minor glitch, the game is almost immpossible to play in this condition. The only thing good about this is you can get sick screen shots cause you can now access other angles to take pictures from. Map player icon always looking south

For some reason my player icon on the map is always facing dead south -- no matter where I'm really facing. Anyone know how to fix this one? --Coxis (talk) 03:55, 17 November 2013 (GMT)

Have you tried the generic fixes? Restarting, loading an old save, installing patches, disabling all mods, and fast traveling? Vely►t►e 04:24, 17 November 2013 (GMT)
I don't have any 3rd party mods installed. All I have is Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn and the High-res pack. Game is up-to-date. I've noticed that it only happens when in an interior location, like an Inn in the wilderness or when inside a city. When out in the open it isn't an issue... --Coxis (talk) 18:41, 17 November 2013 (GMT)
As in, the local map shows correct orientation, but the world map doesn't? This is normal. Working as intended. You're in a different worldspace, so I assume position wouldn't translate over to the map, which operates on the Tamriel worldspace. Vely►t►e 21:26, 17 November 2013 (GMT)
I could've sworn this didn't happen before, but I guess I noticed it just now. Alright, thanks. :) --Coxis (talk) 17:25, 18 November 2013 (GMT)

An ideal path that avoids known glitches?

Skyrim is said to be an open world, as it says on the official website...

"Skyrim reimagines and revolutionizes the open-world fantasy epic, bringing to life a complete virtual world open for you to explore any way you choose."

Anyone who has played it long enough knows that this isn't entirely true.

In a new play-through, I recently had to backtrack (ie. reload an old savegame, losing much time spent playing since that point) after having visited Wolfskull Cave without ever having visited Falk Firebeard in the Blue Palace in Solitude first, to discuss The Man Who Cried Wolf. This of course meant that Falk's dialogue to start the Wolf Queen side-quests is glitched, as mentioned on that quest page. Since then, in the same play-through, I have just been to High Gate Ruins and killed Vokun without having first completed Fetch me that Book! or Shalidor's Insights, risking being unable to complete either of those quests due to a known glitch.

What I would like to know is whether anybody has developed a guide or checklist for the ideal path to follow through Skyrim and all its add-ons, which avoids these quest-specific glitches?

Despite there being a bold message at the top of this page that says... "Quest-specific glitches do not belong on this page but on the appropriate quest page", there seems to be no better place for me to ask this question, given the decentralized nature of individual quest-specific glitch discussions.

I would like to be able to play through Skyrim in confidence, without having to check the UESP before entering every cave or Nordic ruins. A single, printable list that I can tick off in sequential order, which avoids all known glitches but allows maximum completion of the game would really be helpful. Missile death cams

Killing an enemy with a missile, whether an arrow, bolt, or spell, may trigger a context-sensitive cinematic kill animation, only to result in the missile striking the target but failing to kill it, striking an intervening object, missing the target entirely, or sometimes not even being fired.

This happened to me a lot while at the beginning of the game at Master level difficulty. I think the death cam for missile attacks is based on the remaining HP of the assumed target and the assumed damage the attack will cause. Higher level difficulties scale damage by the player down so it didn't actually kill. Once my skill level was sufficiently high the missile attacks started killing like they should. I think that a note should be added about that.NFITC1 (talk) 22:24, 7 January 2014 (GMT)

Horses running on water - moved from article

• Horses can be used to run on water. When the player is on its horse in deep enough water to cause their horse to swim. The player can then get off it will show the animation of the player jumping off (the player may sink for a few seconds), then when the player climbs on their horse again it will show the animation of the player getting on the horse but when they get on it will look like they are standing on the water (a few feet under) instead of floating so when the player is on the horse they will be able to run due to the glitch of getting on the horse allowing the player to run across the lake or ocean instead of swimming.but if the horse comes in contact with any object barrier such as ground or ice you will need to do it again.

Can somebody verify this and clean up the wording before it gets added to the article, please? --Xyzzy Talk 03:59, 7 February 2014 (GMT)

I can verify that this works on 360 as of patch 1.9. As for the revised text, how's this? "If the player dismounts then remounts their horse in water that is deep enough for it to swim in, the horse will behave as though it were actually galloping on land. (Though typically the hooves will appear to be slightly beneath the water's surface.) If the horse comes into contact with any surface that it can walk on (ex: rocks, ice sheets, the sea floor, ect.) it will go back to swimming when next in water." Advice about infinitely powered items glitch.

I have thought about that glitch. It is still possible on ps3. And I have come up with some stuff that I believe should be added to like a notes section about the glitch. i will let someone else who is better at the layout of changes and such decide what can be included and what can be left out.

1. If you cannot exceed an amount of fortify restoration potion of 100%, you will not be able to use this exploit. Wait until you can reach at least 200% to be able to significantly pull off this glitch.

2. Be careful. you could have a reasonable amount of fortify alchemy but you could make one more and have too much.

3. After each successful cycle, select the ingredients to make the fortify enchantment potion (but do not craft yet) and see if it is at an amount you are comfortable with. Then craft or continue the cycle.

4. Using an extremely high fortify enchantment potion does not increase the xp you get from enchanting compared to without it.

5. Save before so you do not waste ingredients getting past the 100% mark.

6. It will only break if you exit the alchemy screen after creating any type of potion, including restoration, although it appears not to. So you can make multiple fortify enchanting potions in one go.

7. Another possible way is to cycle the fortify restoration potion part to get a fortify enchanting potion and then use that to make higher fortify alchemy apparel. Then repeat the process so you do not have the sudden jump that could mess it up.

8. When pulling off this glitch do not over do it so much that when you go to make a fortify alchemy ring or helmet its percentage extremely high. I recommend around one million %.

Please let me know if these are reasonable or if they are redundant. I0brendan0 (talk) 17:48, 18 March 2014 (GMT)

None of them are needed. The glitch can be performed as soon as you have one item with fortify alchemy enchantment and the right ingredients to make fortify restoration and fortify enchanting potions. I tested the exploit after the 1.9 patch, and it works perfectly when following the walkthrough exactly as it is laid out. Every time someone questions it it quickly becomes apparent they have skipped a step, usually the step that actually makes it work, namely the removing and re-equipping of the enchanted apparel. Most of your points are already part of the walkthrough. The waste of ingredients is too basic a recommendation, and the rewards outweigh the negatives. Point 2 doesn't make any sense to me, but as I've said, the walkthrough is almost perfect in its description, anything more is clutter, which should be removed so that people don't get confused by reading too much into it. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 20:41, 18 March 2014 (GMT)
ok I can see your point. But there will be a time if your alchemy skill isn't high enough that you cannot increase the fortify restoration. I do this glitch exactly but sometimes it doesn't go above 90 some percent. That's why I'm saying you have to have more than 100%. And I could have been a little better with 2. Tht one was supposed to be something like you could have a good amount of fortify restoration and then the next cycle you could have an extremely large amount that you couldn't do anything with. — Unsigned comment by I0brendan0 (talkcontribs) at 01:23 on 19 March 2014
I think point 2 is covered under negative numbers then, otherwise though there is a point where the numbers become pointless, eg 101% Fortify Destruction is no better than 100%, there is little point in mentioning it as it does no harm. This glitch can be done in a number of ways, but this one is the most efficient, always works and I mean always; I have done this glitch from as early as around level 5 and it has never failed to work. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 01:48, 19 March 2014 (GMT)
I've pulled off this glitch a number of times, but I have to partially agree with point 1: you need a minimum Alchemy skill to infinitely exploit this glitch. With a character that had Restoration 15, Alchemy 15, no perks, +43% Fortify Alchemy apparel, I didn't manage to produce more than a 36% Fortify Restoration potion. When I continued, the next potion would only give a 35% bonus, the next 36% again, and so on. With Alchemy 20 and 2 points of the Alchemist perk, the threshold rose to 73%. I'll do some more testing to narrow down the necessary skill level needed to infinitely exploit his. — Unsigned comment by 77.12.207.190 (talk) at 16:58 on 28 October 2014 (GMT)
I can usually pull it off with an Alchemy skill of about 50 (and 3-1-1 spent on perks), and two Alchemy apparel of "minor Alchemy". Arcadia can help a lot at getting there, either by pickpocket-training or by crafting Salmon Roe Waterbreathing potions and selling them to regain the training gold. Also, I really should mention the usefulness of the Sarthaal Amulet. With a Fortify Restoration potion of only 3334%, it completely eliminates all spell costs, only taking up the necklace slot. Another honorable mention for mages is the Recovery perk of the Restoration school - taking the perk while under the effect of the potion enhances its effect, so you can get a high, permanent magicka regeneration that is not reliant on anything. Goes extremely well with vampire mages. Standing stones seem unaffected though. 85.67.62.217 18:46, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

Removing enchantments on items

(PS3) I've been buying pick axes from blacksmiths and then selling my enchanted pick axes. I've gone back to look at other things an the pick axe is not enchanted anymore. I've tried this with other things, I.e. iron daggers, but they do not un-enchant themselves. It only works when you buy their pick axe first then sell your pick axe. I also don't know if it only works for merchants that always have a pick axe. So if anyone wants to incorporate this in the article unless its already there go ahead. Works great for making money and leveling up enchanting. I0brendan0 (talk) 01:59, 20 April 2014‎ (GMT)

Vampire Werewolf Extra

Spells and you can't check on other perk trees except vamp. Perk tree also you can't look at map. Do to all these glitches make an extra save before you start the 1st step of the glitch How is it like godlike you have increased carry weight in the thousands and you can increase armor as much as you want by equipping multiple armor also you can walk on water and lots more I hope you experiment with the glitch more and it leads to other cool things :) By:Gage P. or Milik in kyrim — Unsigned comment by 207.144.99.5 (talk) at 01:45 on 24 April 2014

Glitches on this page are supposed to be exploitable and usable without breaking your game. This one means you can't equip things normally, you can't check the map, in short you've broken a large part of the game. The carry weight limit is not increased beyond usable limits, its only a few thousand. And finally there are a few quests that require swimming underwater. Current Date Glitch

Today I noticed that on the pause menu of my current Skyrim playthrough (on the 360 with all official mods installed), that the in-game date became glitched. The date was Morndas, 28th of Rain's Hand 4E. And that's it. No year. It should have said 4E 202, but nothing else was there. Furthermore, the day of the week was off, but exactly what it would have been if the year was 4E 201 (according to Lore:Calendar). I reloaded a save from yesterday and it has the date at Turdas, 24th of Rain's Hand, 4E 202. Which is had the year of course, but the day of the week was wrong by one. My most recent save that had the correct day of the week was the one just prior to my character reaching the end of the three days about to get full vampirism with the date Middas, 11th of First Seed, 4E 202. I'm not sure what offset it by one (vampirism was the only thing that changed between that save and the next), but I can live with that. But the year itself disappearing was not okay. I am unsure what caused that and I tried to reproduce it (the only thing I did the first time between the save with the year and the one without was do the Frostflow Abyss quest), but it didn't happen this time. I can deal with my own bugs myself, but my concern was figuring out what causes this so, if we can be certain, that we can get it documented clearly so it can be useful.
EDIT: I decided to try harder to reproduce it. And I have actually had it happen now that I tried something different. It looks like it's due to a problem with fast travelling (also with boat or carriage), and it seems to have something to do with fast traveling to or from Windhelm. I've realized that every time it happens, I'm either fast traveling to, or away from Windhelm or the anywhere close to it. When it does happen, I'm arriving at my destination at night time (arriving after midnight), no matter if I'm coming or going from Windhelm. It doesn't happen every single time, and sometimes waiting another day after the year is gone, even in Windhelm, clears it up and restores the year. That's the best I could figure out. -- Matt (talk) 23:42, 7 May 2014 (GMT)

Glitch question

I have all the updates on my 360. I want to exploit a former glitch. If I delete the SKYRIM TITLE UPDATE from my 360, should I be able to do the glitch and then redownload it? Also, would this mess up my game due to the fact that I have all the add-ons? Thanks99.196.107.5 14:17, 31 May 2014 (GMT)

I would not try this. I did, and it told me that my downloadable content was corrupt and could not be loaded. This is because Dragonborn requires a certain update to be played and by deleting the updates it is no longer playable. Kzljr1 (talk) 14:28, 31 May 2014 (GMT)

A glitch with the Infinitely Powerful Items exploit?

Armor:3208

I've been playing around with this exploit and noticed something strange. Many of the random loot items I've been finding lately, such as the lowly Iron Shield, have armor ratings that are way out of whack, in the order of thousands. These absurdly powerful items even show up on the bodies of enemies I kill too, not just in stashed loot caches, so I'm wondering if my foes are also overpowered in their defense since I started using this exploit. It's almost as if the game knows that I'm cheating, so it has decided to cheat as well, to compensate. Daric 02:38, 17 June 2014 (GMT)

First of all. Do you have any fortify skill enchantments? Cause if you wear enchantments, armor or weapons viewed from a person or container will act like they are under the influence of the enchantment (at least I think so). So I do not believe the game is compensating for you cheating. (I do this glitch too sometimes) and when you have an enchantment on the other people do not get it. So you only see it when you look in their inventory. Hope this helps. I0brendan0 (talk) 18:28, 2 July 2014 (GMT)

Werewolf and Mounted Archery 'Heart Consumption'

While practising mounted combat Archery for fun, and noticing how the arrows fly just slightly left of the crosshair, I killed some bandits and then in the top left corner of my screen it said "Heart Consumed, Werewolf Progress increased". I found this odd so again I killed another enemy and got the same status message. I'm not sure if it's just restricted to human enemies but it didn't seem to work when I killed a Goat and I haven't been able to kill another enemy to confirm this. I'm not sure what is causing this strange glitch.

I have all expansions, play on the XBOX 360 and it's fully updated.

Horse: Shadowmere

Arrows: Sunhallowed

Bow: Some Imperial Bow enchanted with Soul Trap and Smithed to do a lot of damage.

Character: Altmer Werewolf

Not sure if it's a vanilla glitch or have something to do with one of the expansions or what.

No I'm not in Werewolf Form eating hearts. --131.191.108.127 20:52, 18 June 2014 (GMT)

It's the soul trap glitch. When your werewolf PC soul traps an enemy which is a respawned version of an enemy that you ate in werewolf form, you get another heart added on. I've also noticed this effect happen when you use a shield to block a respawned enemy's attack. If you'd killed the goat in werewolf form, you might well have gotten another heart from it too. --Morrolan (talk) 14:03, 5 August 2014 (GMT)
I've experienced something similar in one of my game files. While I'm not mounted on a horse, if I kill a respawned NPC that I had previously eaten the heart of while a werewolf, using a Bow with Soul Trap, I do get the "heart consumed" notice. But it only happens with this one specific NPC in one particular unmarked location. In the location two Bandits respawn, but only by killing one of the two will cause the notification to appear, but it doesn't happen in any other location of respawned hostile NPCs that I've previously eaten. I have no clue why the notice only happens with this particular Bandit. I play the Legendary Edition on the PS3. --Chocoholic (talk) 07:04, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

Restro loop glitch that can break your game

A word of warning. Creating powerful equipment may break your game! I created an enchantment on a piece of armor that increases health by 1115684864 and stamina by 1115684864 points. Now whenever I unequip, or change this piece of armor, my character instantly dies. This doesn't affect followers, but can break the game, during quests that automatically remove your armor (there are quite a few of them). This was done with the Restro loop glitch, on the xbox 360. — Unsigned comment by 66.90.180.169 (talk) at 20:58 on 27 October 2014

That's 1.1 billion Fortify, which is yes rather high. Does your character instantly die if you go to jail as well? Also, can anyone verify this? --Morrolan (talk) 23:57, 27 October 2014 (GMT)
Yes, my character dies when sent to jail. As soon as the loading screen ends, my character dies, falling head first onto the prison floor. My character's health, and stamina bar are shown as shown as completely empty. Interestingly enough, when performing the quest "The Mind for Madness", you won't die when transported to Pelagius's mind. You will have an empty health bar, though. I haven't finished that quest, but I'm guessing that my character would immediately die upon being transported back to Skyrim. — Unsigned comment by 66.90.180.169 (talk) at 22:26 on 28 October 2014
You don't revert your apparel at the end of Mind for Madness, but stay clothed in the Sheogorath-gifted fine clothing. Actually this may be a way to save your character, if you can regen to at least 1 HP you shouldn't die on returning to the Blue Palace. Try it. --Morrolan (talk) 22:30, 3 November 2014 (GMT)
There is a way to fix that glitch if you have done it and do not have a previous save to go back to. You will have to make other items that fortify health a little bit less than what you have it at and step down. In other words, if you have 1 billion health, equip an item that will fortify health by 1 million and then take off the the 1 billion item. Then continue to step down until you reach a level where you can take the item off without dying. — Unsigned comment by 71.201.58.133 (talk) at 21:25 on 5 March 2015

Guard Glitch

I am not sure if this is a glitch, but every time I fast travel to certain cities, the guards will all spawn at the same place, most of the time being the Jarl's house. One particular time a guard in Markarth fell from the sky and died when he hit the ground. Now, in this glitch all the guards eventually walk to where they are supposed to be, but it can be annoying when a dragon attacks or something and none of the guards are nearby because they have to walk all the way across the city. I am not sure if there is a fix to this, because I play on the XBOX 360. Kzljr1 (talk) 17:30, 12 April 2015 (GMT)

This is not really a glitch. When you fast travel, the game resets the locations of nearly all NPCs to their starting locations. Guards all start in the same spot, so this happens. This fact can also be used to find horses; several unowned horses start near fast travel targets, fast traveling to them usually drops you right near the horse. --Morrolan (talk) 23:15, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

Mannequin glitch

This page says the Unofficial patch fixes the mannequin duplication glitch, but this doesn't appear to be so. My offending mannequins are in Heljarchen Hall. I had been using the mannequin in my cellar to store unique armor sets, then when I built the five mannequins in the east wing armory, I decided to move them up there and display a unique set on each one. Two of the mannequins were bugging out on me and refusing to let me put anything on them, my many frustrated attempts to finally get the armor on them properly is probably when the glitch triggered. Now every time I enter Heljarchen Hall from outside, I get several pieces and when I enter the cellar, I get even more. This is incredibly annoying, as I don't want all these copies and have been dumping them into a container and using resetinventory to destroy them. 71.89.84.249 16:55, 22 April 2015 (GMT)

I'm playing on XBox, so I don't know if this is possible, but the mannequins are themselves containers. Does this resetinventory command work on them? If yes, then you could pick up the armor from them, and then use it on the mannequin to destroy the copies. --Morrolan (talk) 12:16, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Armor on Mannequin not visible

New glitch I have been having. I put armor items on a mannequin, and while it shows up in the inventory it wont show on the mannequin. It is there, you just can't see it. I play on a PC. — Unsigned comment by 71.61.238.79 (talk) at 14:01 on 25 November 2015 (UTC)

This bug should noted under the bug section of Skyrim:Houses. It is rather similar to at least one of the previously noted bugs. Are you sure it is not the same? —MortenOSlash (talk) 18:15, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Multiple Glitches as a result of uninstalling Add-On content.

Xbox 360 all patches updated and main game is downloaded and saved to my hardrive, played on by disk. I started a new game after deleting all previous saves of Skyrim directly from my Hardrive so save files reset at Save#1. All Add-Ons were active at this time but by level 8 I decided I didn't want to deal with Vampires or Cultists for awhile so at level 8 I uninstalled both Dawnguard and Dragonborn but kept Hearthfire. That's when things got strange throughout my leveling that affected Main Game quests.

1. Kharjo's 'Moon Amulet' Quest gives me location '...' and even reinstalling all Add On content did not fix this, nor does anything else.
2. 'Discerning the Transmundane' Quest, when first received by Septimus, the Black Void will spawn that is Hermeous Mora but you will be unable to talk to Hermaeous Mora and forever stuck inside the Glacier. Reloading a previous save does not fix this. To fix this you need to reinstall Dragonborn and talk to him again.
3. Alduin is spazzy and won't ressurect dragons until you approach. After completion of 'A Blade in the Dark' Quest, Alduin is supposed to fly around ressurecting Dragons. However he will just hover above the Dragon Mounds until you Approach, sometimes returning to the same mound to ressurect the same dragon even though he had previously ressurected that dragon. This has also caused issues with my main game as when I was opening the main lifts out of Blackreach, Alduin would be there at each exit just hoovering trying to ressurect another dragon. This happened at Alftland and Mzunchselft. I also see Alduin from time to time from Windhelm's bridge. This has caused dragon attacks to be very limited and next to non-existent to where they usually spawned for me often on previous saves: Such as College of Winterhold, Windhelm's Bridge, Falkreath and Dawnstar. In 30+ levels I only received 2 dragon attacks at my Lakeside Manor but never at Winstad Manor. Currently nothing fixes this, including re-installation of the content.
4. Certain NPC dialouge in quests may not initiate. While there are many minor examples of this happening, the biggest one is the Necromancers in Ustengrav during the quest 'The Horn of Jergen Windcaller'. Without any of the Add On's installed, the Necromancers are supposed to talk to each other about using the Bandits to lift and use the Pickaxes to mine and then finish to run off after a battle they are hearing in the next room over with the Draugr. They instead don't talk to each other but attack the bandits who soon turn into ash and they never run off to the Draugr. Currently no known fix. Minor examples of this have been that I have to talk to NPC's twice if I brawl with them to get my money initiating the dialouge at least twice or if I receive a gift or something from them I have to talk to them twice as sometimes they just stand there and nothing happens.

I have not initiated much of the faction quests, just some thieve's guild here and the College of Winterhold enough to get into the college but nothing more so it's possible that there are other glitches. I have since reinstalled the Add On content because of game breaking glitches. If I ever start a new game I will uninstall all Add On content and patches then play offline for a bit; this is possibly the only way to avoid such things in the future. This has never happened to me before on my many other characters as I never unstalled Add On content during mid character levels before and never had such issues before.--131.191.68.7 21:53, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

(Moved out of the previous contribution as it was a substantial new part added nearly two days later. —MortenOSlash (talk) 05:28, 30 November 2015 (UTC) :)
5. Bodies of both NPC's and animals keep clipping through everything and become unretrievable. I see this most in the vampire attacks from the Dawnguard expansion but I've also lost Mammoths, Bandits, Deer, Draugr and sometimes items in this manner. I forgot to add this one.

First of all, there is no surprise you get bugs when you treat the game in ways it is not supposed to. Additionally, these pages does not normally document effects of playing the game in ways not intended by the developers, so it is no reason to add information on them here. If you still like to discuss it, you might find our forums well suited for that. —MortenOSlash (talk) 05:28, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
No thanks I have no intention of returning to the forums I left so long ago as they are not a safe place to be. All I wanted was a game free of vampire attacks and cultist attacks, so my thoughts are that the glitches I'm having are a result of the latest patch is so tied into the content that it's better if I had just delete everything. I had to delete my last character and all saves because the new patch had corrupted my game somehow and I'm not on a PC. I have deleted add on content before and had no problems with my game. Just this latest patch. I'm playing it how it is meant to be played: No Mods. Additional Content is official content and something about this latest one just messes everything up to a game breaking part. Also I'm having another glitch that I'm not sure if it's because I had previously uninstalled and reinstalled Dawnguard or just from Dawnguard itself so I wrote it elsewhere. --131.191.68.7 01:33, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
As you described it, the glitches are there because you turned off the loading of the downloadable content after you started your current character (or more precise, your latest, now deleted, character), something you are not supposed to do. You can add downloadable content to your game after starting a new character, but never stop using it without risking to trigger a whole lot of troublesome glitches. Even changing loading order for the same character might trigger trouble, but I am not sure if that is possible on the PS3 and Xbox versions. That has nothing to do with patches. —MortenOSlash (talk) 05:27, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

() On 360 anyway, you have no control over loading order. If the DLC file is available (either on the 360's hard drive or via a USB storage device), it loads. There is probably a fixed loading order in the main Skyrim code itself. --Morrolan (talk) 21:31, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

Infinite Spaces on Bookshelves

Firstly I need someone to test this because my game might be glitched out itself but onto the glitch. So I was in Proudspire Manor (fully upgraded) and I went up to a bookshelve to see if the duplicate spell tomes glitch would work with skill books. So I took the skill book 'Surfeit of Thieves' and put it in the bookshelve and exited then I picked up the book from outside to bookshelve container. I expected to find another one in the container but I found that the number of books it could hold increased by one. — Unsigned comment by 24.111.118.138 (talk) at 03:55 on 3 April 2016 (UTC)

Kill Anyone (Essentials and Kids Included)

Basically it's a glitch which allows you to kill anyone, with bugs.

Steps

1. Get reanimate corpse spell (Also any armor that makes conjuration cost less)

2. Go to the target

3. Equip the spell in both hands

4. Do not duel cast the spell but still fire them at the same time

5. Cast as many times as it takes to reduce them into a pile of ashes

Downsides (Bugs)

If you make them an enemy they will still have a red icon where they were last standing but you will be able to fast travel

It can kill anyone!!!

If it's a blacksmith using a forge or grindstone or someone using something i.e. chopping firewood you will never be able to use it again.

If guards are pursuing you and you use it on them you will no longer be able to fast travel in that hold's game borders.

You cannot loot them. — Unsigned comment by 24.111.118.138 (talk) at 03:43 on 16 May 2016 (UTC)
