Alchemy[edit]
The following alchemy ingredients can be used to create a potion of Fortify Pickpocket:
- Blue Dartwing
- Kresh FiberCC (1.25×,1.27×)
- Nordic Barnacle
- Orange Dartwing
- Slaughterfish Egg
- SpadefishCC
Enchanting[edit]
The following items use this effect. You can learn how to enchant custom items with Fortify Pickpocket if you find one of the following items and disenchant it:
- All varieties of Bracers/Gauntlets and Rings of Minor Deft Hands, of Major Deft Hands, of Extreme Deft Hands, of Eminent Deft Hands, and of Peerless Deft Hands.
Artifacts and unique items that use the effect but cannot be disenchanted include:
Notes[edit]
- Fortify Pickpocket works differently on different items and their chance to be successfully pickpocketed. Chances of stealing gold goes up, while items with weight (such as a weapon or animal pelt) go way down. As an example, pickpocketing a Bandit Chief shows in his inventory 200 gold and an Orcish Mace. At 20 Pickpocketing skill (with one level of the Light Fingers perk), the chance of taking the gold is 80%, while the mace is 5%. Donning a piece of apparel with 25% Fortify Pickpocket and looking again at his inventory shows a raise in the chance to take the gold without getting caught (+5%, making it 85%) while the mace now has only a 1% chance of being successfully pickpocketed, a 4% decrease.
Bugs[edit]
- Equipping items or drinking potions with the Fortify Pickpocket effect may actually lower your chance for successfully pickpocketing items.
- The Unofficial Skyrim Patch, version 2.0.0, fixes this bug.
