Vampire Illusionists are Altmer vampire fear mages found in The Orchard. Their matriarch is Virgar the Red, and they are guarding cemetery for Molag Bal.
During the related quest, you must kill several vampires from the Orchard to gather their blood for Vanus Galerion's spell. After the quest is completed, they become neutral, regardless of whose side was picked.

Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Fright Force
- A basic ranged attack that does moderate magic damage.
- Aspect of Terror
- The enemy casts a spell that does moderate magic damage and fears the player for a short time, in which they cannot move or perform any actions. This effect passes through block, and players can break free from it. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance, or avoided using roll dodge.
- Shadow Cloak
- If the target is in close proximity to the Illusionist, they will turn themselves invisible and move to a better location and set the player off balance.
- Drain Essence
- The enemy drains your life force, dealing high magic damage and restoring its health every 1 second for 3 seconds.
