The Weeping Woman

The Weeping Woman is a nereid that serves as the second boss of the Depths of Malatar. Found in a room in the Ruins of Garlas Malatar, surrounded by the ice statues of Aurorans and other victims, she seeks to take the Wrathstone back from you. She may summon Frost Atronachs awaken the Stone Watchers present in the room to aid her during the fight. An unnatural permafrost blocks the passage out of the room, which will only melt after she has been killed.

Skills and Abilities[edit]

As a boss type enemy, the Weeping Woman is immune to all crowd control effects.

Frost Bolt: A basic ranged attack that deals moderate frost damage.
Shivering Swat: A basic melee attack that deals minor frost damage.
Frostbite: Getting hit by Shivering Swat or Frost Bolt will deal minor frost damage over time.
Gelid Globe: A charged heavy ranged attack that deals very high frost damage as indicated by a red circle around the target. Block or dodge this if possible. This will also summon a Frost Atronach to attack the party, and it should be killed quickly to simplify the fight. Ensure the party has enough DPS to kill the atronach before the next is summoned.
Glaciation: The boss summons a large frost AOE either in the center, middle, or outer portion of the room that deals high frost damage over time. Avoid this if possible. As the fight progresses, 2 of these areas will be covered in frost instead of 1.
Summon Stone Watcher: At 75%, 55% and 35% health, the boss summons a Stone Watcher to attack the party, this should be killed quickly to simplify the fight. The message "A Stone Watcher has awoken!" appears to inform you of this.
