The Ancestral Spirit is an Altmer spirit that appears in Tanzelwill, antagonizing Queen Ayrenn while she is praying, before it is cut down and removed by Battlereeve Urcelmo.

During In the Name of the Queen, this spirit will denounce Queen Ayrenn's claim to the throne in support of the Veiled Queen:

Queen Ayrenn: "We call upon our honored ancestors to pass on their memory and wisdom."

<The Ancestral Spirit then appears.>

Ancestral Spirit: "Your ancestors disavow you, false one! The Veiled Queen is the rightful heir, and Norion shall end your reign."

Battlereeve Urcelmo: "My Queen, look out!"

Urcelmo then steps up to the spirit and slashes it with his sword, causing the spirit to disappear.
