Cuirass / Shirt[edit]

The picture shows him in a Forrester's Shirt, there's just been another post about it, and I can see that he possesses one by looking at the CS, but I've only ever seen him in the chainmail cuirass he also has in his inventory (at least, to the best of my recollection). I imagine he's been scared by something and decided to put it on. Any ideas as to what that could be? –RpehTCE 18:10, 27 March 2008 (EDT)

It may be a little late, but I would Imagine something on a trail scared him, or you may have fought Audens Avidus, a summoned creature, a pirate, or the conjurer from the Spell Tomes plugin near him in town.-Puddle TalkContribs. 16:54, 17 July 2008 (EDT)

Ra'Jiradh Dead[edit]

Has anyone else encountered this? I was finishing the Arrow of Extrication quest and was running from the Fort when I saw him die to a Spriggan. This, i hope will not effect my game at all since he offers no service, I was just curious as to any reason he would be outside of the Imperial City, and past Bravil.— Unsigned comment by 77.102.98.21 (talk)

Read the page, as it says, he can die on trails and no, it shouldn't affect your game.-Puddle TalkContribs. 16:51, 17 July 2008 (EDT)

Chainmail Armor[edit]

Shouldn't we include that Ra'jiradh and his other comrades have chainmail armor in their inventories, in case someone is looking for some at earlier levels?Jplatinum16 21:56, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I've done it for Ra'jiradh. The others will get done as the redesign project progresses. –rpehTCE 07:13, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Notes for the CS checker[edit]

This was another weird NPC. I had a feeling those brothers would be hard to do, and Ra'jiradh certainly didn't surprise me. Fredas is the biggest problem - it was completely impossible to make anything out of his actions, as they seemed to be totally random. I wrote in the schedule, that he returns to his house at 2pm. That's not exactly true, at least I don't think so - I have seen him stay out for much longer - and I have seen him return to the house before midday. It seems, that once he has entered his house, he's not going anywhere for the rest of the day. Secondly, the note and the schedule contradict. The note says, that he will be sitting in his chair between 7am and 8pm. I couldn't get him into the chair - and couldn't get him to arrive before 7am, so his behavior between 6am and 7am remains a mystery, at least until the CS solves it. I saw him sit in the chair only once, and that was when I waited for him in the office. He sat down, and immediatly got up again. Thats it for the chair. As I wrote in my Edit Summary, this schedule needs attention... Krusty 15:27, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Outside Imperial City[edit]

I didn't see mention of this on his page, but I came across Ra'jiradh while right outside Water's Edge. He was running past the town on the road headed, I guess, back to the Imperial City. This was Sundas at 7:30 AM. I didn't follow him (he runs pretty fast, just barely slower than I do), but thought it was a little odd considering his usual schedule.

What would take him so far from his usual places? 128.187.0.164 05:47, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

That's strange since he isn't a traveling person. Is there any chance that you could've confused him with M'aiq the Liar? --MC S'drassa T2M 05:58, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
I actually thought it WAS M'aiq at first, which is why I started chasing him. Catching up it clearly was Ra'jiradh, and I could initiate dialog with him like normal.
In light of your comment, I loaded an earlier save and watched him to see when he left the city. Turns out he left at about 6:00 pm on Loredas (game day 209) heading south from Imperial City. He ran all the way to Leyawin, entered the Five Claws Lodge at about 4:30 am Sundas, and immediately turned around and ran all the way back up to Imperial City (which explains how I saw him when I did at Water's Edge).
I suppose there isn't any debugging tools or information that can tell you what it is he's doing or what scripts are driving him, or whatever? It just seems really odd. For whatever it's worth, here's a shot of him in Five Claws. No console trickery (except a jump to his location) and no game-changing mods except UOP. 128.187.0.164 04:47, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Just to let everyone know - we just discovered a weird travel-package in the CS - one, that takes him to Leyawiin to deliver something to Witsidutsei, the inn-keeper of Five Claws. We are still trying to figure out exactly where and when this package kicks in, but the observation could very well be true. As soon as we figure it out, his page will be updated accordingly. --Krusty 17:44, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Could that "something" he delivers be a Black Horse Courier?--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 14:20, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
I just checked this in the CS, and I believe its to do with the Black Horse Courier/Imperial Couriers unfinished quest. Why? Because the package name is "ImpEx01RajiradhDeliver", and many of the packages that are around various NPCs originally connected to that quest also have that prefix (e.g. Fathis Ules).
It looks like on the 4th, 13th and 23rd day of each month (although these could be wrong as my "GetGlobalValue" interpretation skills are a bit weak) he heads out for the Five Claws Lodge, with Witseidutsei as target. He runs there, skipping his normal fallout behaviour and once he gets to Witseidutsei, he turns back, since the package is "Find". He should leave IC at 4pm, but given the notorious "travelling bug" he may leave at midnight instead. Oh, and there are two other conditions: Witseidutsei must be alive and Ra'jiradh musn't be in the same cell as his brother Urjabhi, which may cause some other timing errors. --SerCenKing Talk 14:44, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
SerCenKing: Your analysis is perfect, and your assumption about GameDay is correct — see here. Robin Hoodtalk 23:20, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

() Okay, based on all the interesting discoveries regarding his rare Leyawiin trip, I put his page into my sandbox and intend to get it right this time. I will, however, need a lot of CS help, so be afraid....be very afraid... --Krusty 06:33, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

Just to add something, it seems that the package is scripted to last only two hours. Since technically it's impossible to arrive to Leyawiin in only two hours, he should stop halfway and return to the IC, which may explain why he's rarely seen at Leyawiin. --S'drassa T2M 02:42, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
S'drassa: atm, my CS and game are FUBAR so I can't access either, but I seem to recall that the package had two boxes ticked: "Skip Fallout Behaviour" and "Must Reach Location". These would essentially negate the 2 hour limit, although as I said, I'm relying on memory here. --SerCenKing Talk 09:56, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
Well, SerC, you can definitely pad yourself on the shoulder for the dates mentioned above - for a quick tester, I followed Ra'jiradh on the 13th - and at 4pm (not midnight), he ran out of the Imperial City and headed towards Leyawiin. Unfortunately, he also outran me, so I still don't know what he will do when he arrives. --Krusty 10:06, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
Good to know Krusty :) And S'drassa, I believe the reason why he's almost never seen in Leyawiin is because he literally pops in the Lodge next to the gate, sees Witseidutsei and then heads back. That gives you a real-time span of 3 minutes every in-game month to see him! --SerCenKing Talk 10:07, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
