Oblivion:Ayleid Crown of Nenalata
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
(All statistics are for level 25+ version)
- When you first obtain the helmet it is a quest object. At the completion of the quest, it is turned into a non-quest object.
- This helmet is a leveled item, but its level is determined twice: once when you first enter Herminia's house to steal it, and a second time when it is added to Umbacano's inventory at the end of the quest (assuming that you give Umbacano this crown, and not the Lindai version). In other words, if you level up during the quest it is possible that the helmet you retrieve from Umbacano is stronger than the one you first gave him.
- The helmet's stats are at the level 1-4 range when initially stolen from Herminia Cinna. Upon completion of the quest (assuming that you give Umbacano this crown, and not the Lindai version), the stats correct to their appropriate leveled value. This makes using the quest item glitch for a permanent enchantment at the higher levels difficult, in that the helmet can't be put on until you're "safe" at the end of the quest. When you're safe the quest is over, and the helmet is no longer tagged as a quest item.
