The Apex Towers of Elinhir

The Apex Accord, also known as the Blackcaster Accord,[1] was an official agreement established some time in the early Second Era between the Blackcaster Mages Guild and the citizenry of Elinhir. The agreement stated the Blackcaster guild would provide protection for the city, as long as Elinhir's people supported them in the operation of their mages' academy.[2]

History[edit]

The Blackcaster Mages Guild, led by Felix "Blackcaster" Augustus, were said to have left the Mages Guild to practice their arts in Craglorn. Intrigued by the sight of the then-empty Apex Towers of Elinhir, the Blackcasters pleaded with the town's mayor for access to the towers, but were denied multiple times. Sometime later, a band of Iron Orcs came down from the mountains to lay siege to the city. The Blackcasters drove off the Orcs using their magic and were said to have won the love of the people of Elinhir, who then uplifted Felix Augustus as their new mayor. Shortly after, the Apex Accord was struck.[2]
