Oblivion:Blackwood Company[edit]

Hello, I don't think we've had the pleasure to meet before! While I liked the work you put into writing your version of Oblivion:Blackwood Company, it feels like your addition may have been better for a lore page than a faction page. While the Blackwood Company page still has issues (and it needs the page for the Hall made), the direction you ended up taking it would of made it so we would ultimately need to split up into even more pages than it does now. Instead, you may want to see about just turning it into a proper lore article, as you seemed to have put some serious research into it. And lastly, thanks for your interest in contributing to the site! --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:52, 11 October 2013 (GMT)

Hello there, I just found that article really lacking and in dire need of a clean-up, and thank you for the positive feedback on what I tried to do. Whilst it may have been a little detailed for a game-specific faction article, I would have to disagree with you in removing all my edits, since the current article doesn't have related quests, nor is any of it referenced, for some examples. Making a lore page for the Blackwood Company is a great idea, good thoughts, something I had already thought of - in fact that would be my priority and focus - could you help me change the redirect on the Blackwood Company Lore page so that we could put the detail in there? I also intend on filling out the Oblivion:Blackwood Company Hall page in time, as they are both something that Uesp needs in my humble opinion. Many thanks Darth crucifious (talk)
I restored some of the content that I felt the article was definitely needing. Just a note, we in general don't cite sources in gamespace articles, as they're basically supposed to be sources. As for making a lore page, you would need to follow this link so you aren't redirect, and follow the general layout of a page such as Lore:Fighters Guild to make sure it met standards. I hope this helped. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 19:53, 11 October 2013 (GMT)
Again, many thanks for your help in this. Also, you've done a good job with putting some of my previous edits back into Oblivion:Blackwood Company that we can both agree have relevant info; in my humble opinion it looks a little more smoothly-written than it did yesterday, without the relevant info all over the shop. I'll leave it as you have, in agreement, and I'll have a crack at starting the lore page for Blackwood Company with some of the text I originally used for the faction, in that you said would be more fitting to a lore article. Lastly, if I am to have a crack at the currently empty Oblivion:Blackwood Company Hall, should I follow the layout of a page such as Oblivion:Leyawiin Fighters Guild for example? Hopefully our end game in this would be a Uesp-standard Oblivion faction article, location article for the Company Hall, and lore article for the Company history, if of course you would be in agreement to this. Much thankfulness to you Sir Darth crucifious (talk)
