Welcome[edit]

Hello Aran-Cthulhu. Welcome to UESPWiki! t's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

  • If you prefer to discuss Elder Scrolls related topics with other users, without the expectations of a wiki to worry about, see our Forums.

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have Fun! JackTurbo95 05:49, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Some info..[edit]

You are doing ok with your current changes on some pages , but on some edits , there is not much need to change 2 , to two. But the Arkngthand was a good spot! JackTurbo95 06:11, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Dang---I don't know if I'm even doing this right, and maybe there's a better way of speaking with you that I'm not aware of (yet)... Bear with me! Thanks for your welcome and your suggestions! I agree that changing "2" to "two" isn't exactly the most burning need of the wiki, but still, I did it generally because my editor's brain probably wouldn't let me sleep if I didn't, and specifically because it was mentioned pointedly in the Language section of the Style page. You have got a point , but you have just started this. Also when you reply to anything it is always good to use ":" because it then doesn't get all jumbled! Good luck! JackTurbo95 06:24, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
True enough, caution is a novice's best friend. Thanks for the reply tip! ¡Y me da gusto ver representantes latinos aquí! Aran-Cthulhu 06:29, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Jaja , eres español ? =D JackTurbo95 06:31, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
;) Aran-Cthulhu 06:38, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
=D JackTurbo95 06:42, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Jaja! Eso si, ser ateo Y latino, bueno, ni que decir, amigo! Aran-Cthulhu 06:47, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
I have a feeling that some Patrollers are pulling their hair out at this conversation! May I ask where you got the Cthulhu part from. Cause to me it could come from Ktulu ?? JackTurbo95 06:48, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Yes, no, and sort of. So yes, the first place I saw any mention of Cthulhu, it was indeed from Metallica's The Call of Ktulu (which is what I assume you're refering to). But then I figured out where it actually came from, the author H.P. Lovecraft. I read the story that the song is based off of, the rest of his writings, and I've been Cthulhu ever since! Nice catch. I am a huge Metallica fan! I wouldn't be able to call myself one if I didn't notice that! But yes , it was also from a book. Never read it ever , but thinking about! JackTurbo95 07:03, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Nice! I have to admit though that I'm a huge Metallica fan... as long as we're talking about pre-Load Metallica. They changed their style too much for me. But alas. Definitely check out Lovecraft - his influence is spread far and wide throughout metal (e.g. Morbid Angel, etc.). He's a little verbose and depends a lot on building the mood in his stories (so you may find him a little slow), but for me it's perfect. He's hands-down my favorite author. And now, it being 1:10 AM aquí en Gringolandia, I'm off for some ZZZs! Thanks for the warm welcome! Aran-Cthulhu 07:12, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
I like all their music , but pre-Load is probs the best! It is 9:14 here. Big time difference! =D JackTurbo95 07:14, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
