When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Show Preview

Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to have been making multiple edits to a page by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! (←) Be careful, although his edits may have been vandalism, comments such as this are unacceptable. All you managed to do was stoop to his level and throw an unnecessary attack at him. Request for a couple of sponsored links deletion.

I just started as a new user, but I noticed two disturbing sponsored links. Mostly the Caesary links with using adult looking pictures and/or animations. "One click for a Roman Orgy! Click Now!" Honestly, why are those links of all things, sponsers of this wiki? We should remove those two links if possible (well the immature ads)."There is always hope"-Aragorn 17:33, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

i play kingory which is owned by the same company as caesary (i played before these ads) and they use really misleading ads they are just a game where you build a cities in the medieval time and nothing like the ads suggest (Eddie the head 04:55, 15 July 2011 (UTC))

More Advice

Can I please ask that you stop adding messages to IP pages that have already been warned or given a notice? Comments such as this one (logged out) nearly never meet there intended target hours after the situation has been dealt with as most IPs are dynamic. If there is already a warning or notice on a page there is no reason to add your own comment. While I thank you for helping with patrolling, adding unneeded comments is going to at best clutter up a page, at worst take up the time of another user cleaning them up. --AKB ^{Talk Cont Mail} 21:05, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

Clogging up Recent Changes

yes, but it is there first time, so we prefer to give all of our members the benefit of the doubt, and again those edits could have effectively been shortened to one big edit instead of multiple edits again shown here it makes it harder for users like me whose job is to patrol the edits.Ziguildmaster 05:16, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
