The Elven Guard[edit]

(Role Group-type Roleplaying)

A Little while before the emperors death he began an order called the Elven guard, a select group of the best Bosmer archers to be put into this order. He only selected the most loyal, they tested this through painful a painful initiation of torture etc so that there dedication could be absolute.

Their jobs where to be invisible, they where elite soldiers, the best. Their roles could be anything from detectives to conducting skooma raids or eliminating possible threats to the empire. However. One night at the camp while your group is doing a recon mission into black marsh, one of your elven brothers begins to kill of the rest one by one in their sleep. you confront him, their is a battle and eventually you are left with a bloody dagger in you hand, and your brother dead on the ground. at this stage you are the only one left. Then your backup arrives and you are left their with all your brothers and sisters dead. you are carted of to the imperial prison and treated without pity or remorse. however your loyalties remain as strong the emperor as the day you passed your initiation. Then one day as you are being taunted yet again by Valen Dreth the emperor himself walks into your cell, and is under threat of assassination.

From here we all know how the story plays out.

Your character should obviously be a wood elf (Bosmer) with

Stealth Speed, Agility Athletics (You need to be quick on your feet when you are called to take out a Kajhit) Acrobatics (Elven Guard to be light on their feet when trying to get to a vantage point to shoot down their enemies) Blade (to sink into you enemies back when they arnt looking) Light armour (Being able to move quickly and travel lightly is one of your main priorities) Marksman (Your main weapon, you should strive to acheive perfection of your art, because when the sound of an arrow flying through the air, and the dull thus when it hits your enemy, is like music to your ears, as well as being able to feed yourself in the wilderness)Sneak (So you can move stealthily and have the element of surprise, as well as being able to move undetected on a recon mission to spy out potential expansions of cyrodils borders) Armourer (to be self sufficient, because you will be gone long periods of time and their wont be a smith just waiting for you).

In general you should be invisible, avoid going into cities when you can and in general try to be self sufficient, a hood will be necessary at all times, and you should never be caught without your elven armor and bow. Always have lots and lots and lots of arrows handy, and be ready to be called into action at anytime.

Be sure to complete the main quest as nothing is more important to you then serving the emperor. After that perhaps the charge over the elven guard passes into the hands of the elder council and you are entrusted with the role of serving all the counts/ countesses of cyrodil as they are usually involved in quests. or mabey you choose to join the fighters guild at put your skills to use, perhaps the arena to show off your abilities to the people of cyrodil. Or perhaps you have to simply take out as many bandits/ mauruders and you can because they are a threat to cyrodil and need to be eliminated. Mabey you are encharged with protecting a small settlement such as allswell or any number of others in cyrodil. they then are your responsiblity and you must look after those people because they rely on you. Your service to the empire to can be any and everything you wish, mabey the to halves of the empire are going to war with each other you must choose a side and spy out the other, finding and knowing every single ruin cave or hole in the ground, then you must clear them out to reduce resistance for your army. Mabey you see the beauty of the side you are spying and switch sides, after all the emperor is dead and so is your loyalty as long as your not working for the elder council.

It is very open ended so write you own story to go along with it, but remember, perfection with the bow is your goal and everything is training. You are always trying to improve.
