Svarti Two-Knives

Svarti Two-Knives is a Nord barbarian who can be found in the Redoran Affairs office in the western Curia offices at Ebon Tower in Old Ebonheart. He is a representative of Nords living in Uld Vraech, and he is trying to make a case to the Minister, Hjortyn Silver-Tongue, for the Nords to keep control of Uld Vraech over House Redoran. Hjortyn is committed to being neutral on the conflict.

For protection, he wears a set of Nordic iron greaves with matching boots, gauntlets, and pauldrons. For clothing, he wears a common shirt. He wields a Nordic shortsword and carries an iron dagger.

Aside from his natural resistance to shock, immunity to frost, ability to shield himself, and a natural frost damage spell, he knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Well, go on then. Don't stand there all day. Speak up!"
  • Background:
"%Name's the name. I represent the Nords of Uld Vraech."
  • House Redoran:
"Pointy-eared bastards, that's what they are. Our old enemies. But we Nords will never yield. Never!"
  • Morrowind:
"The Nords under King Vrage conquered Morrowind, known to them as Dunmereth, in the early First Era. For nearly two hundred years the land that you're standing on right now belonged to men -- not elves. It wasn't until Nerevar God-Killer united the quarreling elven tribes under one banner that we were finally forced to abandon the lands south of Uld Vraech and retreat back to Skyrim. In Uld Vraech, however, some brave Nords stood their ground and a few old Nord settlements have survived to this day."
  • Nord:
"We Nords have been in Morrowind for four thousand years -- ever since the days of the legendary King Vrage and his conquests in the First Era. Nowadays most of us live in the remote regions of Uld Vraech and Sheogorad. The Dark Elves hate us and would gladly kill or enslave us all. But we are warriors by nature and we will never yield to elven tyranny, no matter what House Redoran says."
  • Uld Vraech:
"Uld Vraech belongs to the Nords! That is what I'm trying to get this Minister, this 'Silver-Tongue', to understand. You would think that she'd be sympathetic to the struggle of her kinsmen. But no! She takes the side of House Redoran."
