Olvys Omayn

Olvys Omayn is a Dunmer publican who at the time of your arrival in Omaynis runs the town's only drinking establishment, the Miners' Tavern. He is realistic about the location's appeal - offering beds for free in recompense. Olvys is estranged from the governor of the town, Alvuru Omayn, who wants nothing to do with him. However, his other cousin, Nalvos Omayn, is a regular at the bar - and frequently embroils Olvys in his schemes. During the events of The Statue for instance, Olvys is convinced to kick Nalvos' drunken friends out of the bar, so that they can then assist Nalvos and yourself with the theft of the town's most notable landmark.

Despite the governor's disdain for him, Olvys is the chosen candidate of her secretary, Cornelius Vulpo (and more importantly Serjo Tholer Andas of Andothren) for the position of publican at Omaynis' planned new inn. During the events of Omaynis Inn, you will therefore be tasked by Cornelius and Andas' secretary, Ulvys Ules, with ensuring that Olvys gets the job. If he gets the position, he will later be noted to be turning over a handsome profit to Tholer Andas.
