Nalvos Omayn

Nalvos Omayn is a Dunmer Noble and the brother of Omaynis' governor, Alvuru Omayn. A noted drunkard, he is a frequent-enough cause of trouble in town that Alvuru remarks that the guards by now know "how best to handle him". His estranged cousin, Olvys Omayn, considers him and his friends regulars at the Miners' Taven. Nalvos himself seems to bear a considerable level of resentment towards his sister Alvuru, eagerly joining you in stealing the town's prized statue purely because of how she will react. Nalvos even takes offense at her attempt to make him publican of Omaynis' new tavern during Omaynis Inn:

"She has to accept that I'm a grown-up man and not a child she can toss around however she wants. I'm a noble just like her, and I deserve better than to run a petty inn."

If persuaded to run the inn however, Nalvos makes something of a hash of it, angering Tholer Andas in Andothren by not forwarding profits his way. It appears Nalvos has angered somebody else during his life also, as a writ is issued for his life, which you may collect on as a member of the Morag Tong.

Notes[edit]

  • In the game files, Nalvos is implemented as two individuals, with only TR_m4_Nalvos Omayn2 buying and selling goods. This is the version that appears behind the bar if you chose Nalvos as the publican for the new inn.
