Crossed by Veloth, who tamed its tumbling river, and rift by the creation of the Inner Sea, which shattered its mountains and linked the river to the Sea of Ghosts, Aanthirin has always had a central role in Morrowind's history. So too now that its status as Morrowind's crossroad has made it the focus of a bitter trade and territorial dispute between the dominant House Indoril and ascendant House Hlaalu. Divided between those houses, linked by Imperial trade interests and Temple authority, one thing is clear: though its river now flows gently and farms are abundant, Aanthirin itself has yet to be tamed. Dagon Urul is a rocky and unpleasant coastal region in the Telvannis District of Morrowind. Dagon Urul clings to the northeastern edge of the Inner Sea, mirroring the Vvardenfell region of Azura's Coast. While the coasts resemble the bleak and rocky isles of Azura's Coast, the northern reach of the region encompasses a burnt-out valley, draped in the ash and shadow of Mount Sarrunabi. The ash of the mountain clings onto the shores of Nolubal Bay, the abandoned Dunmer stronghold Koranyon sitting in the mountain's shadow.

Settlements

Cities (Tier II)

• Firewatch — An important Imperial city on the mainland, to the east of Vos and Tel Mora.

Outposts (Tier V)

• Tel Oren — An isolated Telvanni tower, at the eastern coast of the Inner Sea, the study of Mistress Faruna.

Dwellings

• Nalrin Vere's Shack — The home of a flower farmer, deep in the countryside.

Caves

• Berantus — A small cavern in a cliff to the northwest of Helnim, occupied by bandits.
• Dagorda Cavern — A small smugglers' cave near Tel Oren containing smugglers.
• Mount Sarrunabi, Cavern — The lava-soaked tunnels beneath Mount Sarrunabi, filled with the walking dead.
• Zatamushi — A tiny cave in Dagon Urul leading to a ruined daedric shrine.

Daedric Ruins

• Ebunammidan — A shrine to the Daedra Prince Mehrunes Dagon in Dagon Urul.
• Kannidamarus — A partially-flooded shrine in Dagon Urul dedicated to Molag Bal.
• Onimushili — A large ruin dedicated to Malacath and awash with Orc cultists.
• Ulanababia — A shrine dedicated to Molag Bal on the Nedweisra Peninsula.

Dunmer Strongholds

• Koranyon — An ancient Dunmer stronghold that forms the base of Nord reavers terrorising the Inner Sea.
• Mandaran — A marauder-infested stronghold that has been troubling trade in the Inner Sea.

Dwemer Ruins

• Bthalag-Zturamz — A lava-strewn ruin near Firewatch that is home to immense wealth and an unusual puzzle.
• Ratharzak — A stout tower and the twin of nearby Yaztaramz.
• Rthungzark — A Dwemer ruin clinging to the side of the volcanic Mount Sarrunabi.
• Yaztaramz — The home of a Telvanni wizard conducting research on the Dwemer.

Grottoes

• Abammu Grotto — A tiny grotto in Dagon Urul.
• Drolam Grotto — A small grotto near Tel Oren, rich with pearls.
• Manabilu Grotto — A medium-sized grotto in the Dagon Urul near Tel Oren.
• Vannu Grotto — A large many-layered grotto with few spots to breathe.
• Zatamushi — A tiny cave in Dagon Urul leading to a ruined daedric shrine.

Mines

• Alvor-Vidran Egg Mine — A remote egg mine in Dagon Urul.
• Gilvan-Tidrith Mine — An abandoned iron mine north of Firewatch.
• Masunabi Egg Mine — A medium-sized egg mine west of Onimushili.
• Murahn-Cithal Mine — An abandoned iron mine in Dagon Urul east of Firewatch infested with animals and daedra.
• Vantus Mine — A large diamond mine north of Firewatch.

Ships

• Brazen Maiden — A ship moored at Firewatch after an accident.
• Forlorn Shipwreck — A grounded wreck containing pieces of the Savior's Hide.
• Silver Serpent — The cheapest tavern in Firewatch, where you should worry about sea sickness next to alcohol poisoning.
• TEM General Symmachus — An Imperial galleon sunk deep in the waters southwest of Firewatch.
• TEM Predator's Gold — A sunken ship that once defended Firewatch in the Battle of the Inner Sea.
• TEM Saber of the Straits — An Imperial Navy galleon found tied up at Firewatch's docks.

Tombs

• Arvethu Ancestral Tomb — A small tomb in Dagon Urul populated by undead.
• Nandiryon Ancestral Tomb — A small tomb on an island northwest of Firewatch's docks.
• Narad Ancestral Tomb — A tomb near Tel Oren, populated by undead.
• Orothri Ancestral Tomb — A large tomb home to a sacred artifact.
• Thendas Ancestral Tomb — A medium-sized tomb northeast of Tel Oren.
• Vaynth Ancestral Tomb — A small tomb close to Firewatch

Velothi Towers

• Arvs-Nalor — A Velothi tower that is home to a Telvanni alchemist and his assistant.
• Nassudan — A small Velothi tower, previously inhabited by a necromancer, currently inhabited by an angry, trapped Orc.
