More Bulletins[edit]

Once you deliver the 20, you can ask for 5 more.. Does that change anything? I got a ultimate healing potion --Veehmot 05:11, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

I've given out at least 27 of these. After I handed out the first extra 5, I was able to ask for and get 5 more; but I'm running out of people to give them to. Chances are there are an even 30. I don't expect it to matter, however. She probably wont give a better reward. Other than to "spread the warmth of Mara" I don't see any reason to hand out any more than 20. — Unsigned comment by 174.25.147.121 (talk) at 00:09 on 8 December 2011
Same issue here. I asked for 5 more, though I wasn't given the option to obtain any more after that. I distributed them for a total of 25. Every time I passed out one of the extra ones, the "Completed" message would re-appear, with the total still showing out of a possible 20 (i.e. 25/20). The dialogue and reward for 25 is identical to that for 20. I'm guessing they planned on doing something with this but never got around to this. I'm calling it a bug. 216.243.60.171 01:28, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

People Who Accept Bulletins[edit]

Why aren't the Thieves Guild members or the Flagon's Vault dwellers listed here? I know fot a fact that a thieves guild member accepts a bulletin — Unsigned comment by 86.174.36.182 (talk) at 22:37 on 4 December 2011

From Deepest Fathoms[edit]

Is it worth mention that From-Deepest-Fathoms is currently incorrectly address "brother" when handing her a flier? -- Haravikk 19:00, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

It is indeed. I just added it to the page. Thanks for the report! Robin Hoodtalk 07:12, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
Does this actually cause people to go to the temple? — Unsigned comment by 109.151.111.38 (talk) at 19:27 on 10 June 2012
Not as far as I have seen but I could easily be wrong. RIM 20:34, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Quest Order[edit]

Is it possible to do this quest before Book of Love? I can't get the option to just to this for the moment; the priests of Mara want to send me off to do BoL all the time... — Unsigned comment by 80.229.165.55 (talk) at 17:44 on 29 September 2012

Counting...[edit]

It says you can deliver 25 notes but there are only 21 people who accept them, according to the posted table. As far as I've seen I could only give one to each person. Does this reset after a given ammount of time or after spreading the first 20 or what am I missing? SarthesArai (talk) 20:58, 8 May 2013 (GMT)

Hmm, as far as I remember the ones who are rude about the temple still take one off your hands. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 01:00, 29 May 2013 (GMT)

Repeatable recipients[edit]

Went to Riften to clear out some quests, including The book of Love.
Accepted the next quest (this one), handed out a few pamphlets (but not all of them), then continued with my intended task.
Returned to Riften again, and found that everyone whom I had already given a pamphlet to would now accept a second one. (Same dialogue response as before.)
Would this be worth mentioning? And if so, would it be considered a Note or a Bug? I'm leaning more towards it being a bug, as I doubt it was fully intended for this to be possible. (Theoretically, one could hand out all the pamphlets to the same person by simply doing it over time.)
Edit: Entered the Hall of the Dead, gave a pamphlet to Alessandra, then went back out again. At this point, previous recipients would no longer accept a new one. Might've been a glitch, that sorted itself out by saving/loading and/or loading another zone. TTRM (talk) 11:47, 2 December 2023 (UTC)

Further details
Though loading to session start didn't allow me to replicate the above, clearing all the saves since session start (a mere 5 minutes of autosaves), shutting the game down and re-launching it did allow me to replicate it.
Talked to someone whom I had given one to, to see if they had the option: They did.
Left the conversation and made a quicksave: Dialogue option remained.
Loaded the quicksave, then talked to them again: Dialogue option vanished.
...so it seems it could be used as an exploit (albeit a pointless one for this particular quest), but not really worth the trouble of setting it up.TTRM (talk) 12:18, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
