mannequin bug[edit]

So... I put the Masque of Clavicus Vile on the mannequin near the west wall in the basement of my Honeyside home in Riften and now, every time I remove the Masque then leave Honeyside and comeback, a new Masque is equipped to the mannequin. I am currently up to four masques.... Anyone else get this bug? (Xbox 360) — Unsigned comment by 125.203.3.127 (talk) at 08:46 on 05:13, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

I have read of mannequins duplicating apparel in the Vlindrel Hall, Hjerim, and Proudspire Manor houses, so there may be a similar bug in the Honeyside home as well. Alphabetface 14:36, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

mask/masque confusion?[edit]

I am a little unsure if I should edit in the clarification that this mask is not one of the dragonpriest masks under the notes section in main page. Maybe it is unnecessary but I know atleast two people that have tried to fit it on one of the piedestals in Bromjunaar Sanctuary, me and an equally intelligent friend ;-) --Middleofsweden 17:16, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Well, I will try to edit it in the main article as a note. I guess we will see how long it will stay :-) --Middleofsweden 15:52, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
I've removed it. I think it's pretty clear it's not one of the Dragon Priest masks, a note mentioning it is just too much in my opinion. Wolok gro-Barok 17:11, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
I guess it is safe to say that the average player is more clever than me. :-) Nah, jokes aside. You are probably right, the reason it felt correct to add it was because me and my friend both made the mistake. But never the less, it was two stupid personal mistakes. --Middleofsweden 17:19, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Donning Mask removes armor[edit]

I equip the mask and am running around in a loincloth. Is this intentional? 70.126.48.173 02:37, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

That's not supposed to happen unless, perhaps, you were wearing something that was full-body to begin with, like some robes. Robin Hoodtalk 04:13, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

This item is temperable[edit]

i'm 100% sure this item can be tempered with Ebony Smithing and Arcane Blacksmith. — Unsigned comment by 213.147.110.118 (talk) at 14:15 on 3 December 2012‎

This is one of the items where a tempering recipe was added by the unofficial patch (see v1.1 Item Fixes). --Alfwyn (talk) 14:36, 3 December 2012 (GMT)

Matching Set[edit]

Does the masque benefit from the Matching Set perk with deadric armour (or something else)? With / without USKP? Thanks for the help 118.92.224.189 03:04, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Good question Ciberzombie (talk) 01:02, 3 January 2017 (UTC)
The Masque has the "ArmorMaterialEbony" keyword, and as such should count for the Matchin Set perk with other Ebony items. ThebigMuh (talk) 19:59, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
