She usually goes back to the river wood trader after you marry. Try finding her there. --Slyspy70 00:52, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

she asked me where we would live ansd a day later she showed up there .
maybe this is the solution to your problems too. — Unsigned comment by 94.215.12.212 (talk) at 09:30 on 16 December 2011 (UTC)

i also had this problem when i told her to go to my house in solitude. Now i cant find her. can someone help?98.196.92.214 02:38, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

-sigh- Look people, for future reference I'll make one thing clear. At the temple of Mara in Riften during your marriage, you have to dismiss the dialog with the priest (if necessary) and hurry over to your bride before she leaves. That's when you invite her to your house. Otherwise, you suffer the penalty of this notorious glitch. This goes the same for Camilla Valerius. This same thing happened to me. I Married Camilla then went to see if she was at the Riverwood Trader. As soon as I got there a dragon attacked the city and a couple of the town folk got slaughtered. I didn't find her corpse nor can I find any trace of that harlet! I suppose I'll check back at the temple — Unsigned comment by 98.210.218.214 (talk) on 6 April 2012
can you possibly get remarried after marriage — Unsigned comment by 69.254.226.72 (talk) at 06:19 on 21 July 2012

No Lover's Comfort?[edit]

I married Camilla but all I get is the Well Rested buff. Also Since I helped Faendal he shows up near my bed and tells me "If only Camilla knew of my affections". WILL KILLING HIM FIX THIS?!?! — Unsigned comment by 71.255.71.176 (talk) at 09:03 on 21 December 2011 (UTC)

It seems very unlikely that killing him will fix it. You're most probably just experiencing a bug ~ Dwarfmp 14:41, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Moving Out[edit]

If she moves out with me do i still get money from the store? — Unsigned comment by 76.211.142.106 (talk) on 28 January 2012

—Yes. The store that your spouse sets up is independent of where he or she lives.
Sven or Faendal may visit Camilla after you marry her and move to a different residence. I married Camilla and had her move to Breezehome. I came home to find Faendal on his way out (my conditions: I am not Thane of Whiterun. Before marrying Camilla, I told Faendal about Sven's fake letter and then told Camilla about the fake letter Faendal gave me in response).— Unsigned comment by WayneFrobisher (talkcontribs) on 5 February 2012

confused[edit]

I looked everywhere. Is it definite that she returns to Riften? 91.125.178.168 21:09, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

She has no relation to Riften unless you're living there with her in Honeyside. She's in Riverwood, in Riverwood Traders. Lord Eydvar 04:54, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Find Camilla after marriage[edit]

After marriage, Camilla gets out of Mara's Temple. She was not found at her place in Riverwood. After buying a house, I came back to Mara's Temple and she asked me as soon as I entered to where she would live? At her place with me or move in. I asked her to move in and she's there in Whiterun since then. She offers me food, money and store facility right in one place. We can also share the bed to sleep. — Unsigned comment by 174.119.189.49 (talk) on 28 April 2012

New Quest? "Job involving violence."[edit]

I am on level 79, and this is my third time I've finished Skyrim. I am using the latest build 1.6xxx.

Today I was in the Riverwood Trader when a "Thief" came running down the stairs from the bedroom. I killed him. That may be the third thief I've killed in or at the Riverwood Trader. After doing my business with Lucan I walked across the street to do business with Alvor the blacksmith when a courier ran up and handed a note to me.:

Sir Tim,

I am aware of your recent assault on Thief. Rest assured I have no interest in that particular matter. I do, however, have an interest in your willingness to employ force when the need arises.

If you are able to assist me, I will gladly pay for your troubles.

Next time you are in Riverwood, please call on me.

Sincerely, Carmilla Valerius

In the Misc section of my journal I have a new entry:

"Meet with Camilla Valerius about a job involving violence."

To the best of my research this is not the same as any well known Riverwood quest. And I've tried several times to approach Camilla about this job, (with and without Lucan nearby) and never been successful in getting appropriate dialogue started.

Any ideas?

Hi. That 'new' quest you acquired isn't really specific to Riverwood or a particular NPC. It's a quest set by the radiant system. The quest page can be found here. ~ Psylocke 22:06, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Merchant[edit]

The line that says that if you sell to her,Lucan loses gold. How iss this true.If Lucan is still alive, she isn't a merchant. The only other way to sell to her would be to marry her.If so,this should be reworded.--Skyrimplayer 15:20, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Investor Perk[edit]

If you invest in Riverwood Trader, is the merchant's gold increased by 10000 when selling to Camilla, or only to Lucan? Lucan's page shows the +10000 in the table to the right, while Camilla's only shows +500; but I would expect the store's gold to increase by the same amount regardless of which you invest in or sell to. 24.130.119.213 03:17, 5 September 2012 (EDT)

Once I married her I moved in with her at river wood trader then we moved to her old house she packed a bag then I would say fast traveled so I could not follow it does not show on my map were she is? Please help — Unsigned comment by 118.82.196.1 (talk) at 10:39 on 12 November 2012‎

Finding Camilla...[edit]

Ok, so I just married Camilla and then got the glitch where she disappeared. However, I wanted to know where she was, so after searching the internet for a bit, I just did player.moveto 13488. That teleported me to Camilla. She was fighting some bandits (not thieves) and a bandit outlaw. She was outnumbered 3:1, and she was fighting in the middle of, you'll never guess.......HELGEN. She was in Helgen (this was at btw) fighting people! I didn't have any quest like this ready, and I'm pretty sure I have no thugs after me. My criminal slate is completely clean (in terms of getting caught at least), so I have no idea what is going on. I don't have a note, and its not like the "Job requiring violence" post above. I've already married Camilla, but I left Riften without talking to her. Recently, I wanted to remarry (using console stuff, but I didn't do anything yet at this point), so I went back to the temple of Mara, and she was there, and initiated the "where to live" dialogue you have if you talk to her before she leaves the temple. So, I said her place (because I haven't bought a house yet) and then she walked out. I messed around more in Riften and then I went to Riverwood. I looked for about 4 hours game-time, and then I went back inside the riverwood trader (for like the 5th time) and she wasn't there. So I check upstairs, and walk out that door. That's when I used the player.moveto console command, and found myself in Helgen. So, because it autosaved before I used that command, and because I was confused, I decided to load it up again to see if it would happen twice. It did. So I fought the guys with her like an awesome husband & wife team does, and then she went to walk out the gates of helgen that provide the most direct route to riverwood. So I load up my other save again, and get on my horse and fast travel to helgen, no console commands. The bandits are there, but she is not. This is so confusing, please tell me I'm not the only one this is happening to! Or if I'm just not understanding, please tell me that too. I am using 1.4.27, but that shouldn't matter, right. I just double checked the patches section of the wiki, and nothing like this shows up since then. Also, I just finished killing those guys from my fast travel, I went back to Riverwood. I haven't checked if she's there yet, but there is a thief. More to come on this later. --Gmarcott42 (talk) 03:03, 1 March 2013 (GMT)Gmarcott42

First things first, bandits overrun Helgen once Unbound is over, so it's nothing to worry about. Checking the Helgen page I also found this note: "Helgen is the default destination for bad AI targets, meaning that bugged NPCs may end up wandering nearby." Now it never happened to me but apparently it's rather common to find people that have nothing to do here.
As for your problem, I don't really have a solution except to see what happens if you let her go back to Riverwood once you defeated the bandits. Just keep a save file from before the marriage in case something wrong happens later. Elakyn (talk) 12:53, 1 March 2013 (GMT)

Couldn't get chat options even after finishing golden claw quest?[edit]

As title. I have no idea how to give her the amulet other than reverse-pickpocketing it onto her. :/ 99.249.216.221 04:15, 12 March 2013 (GMT)

What amulet? Are you trying to marry her? In that case you wear the amulet and talk to her. I can't think of any other amulet you would be trying to use with her. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 02:09, 6 May 2013 (GMT)

Need Help[edit]

I have the amulet but when i talk to her it only says the option do you have anything to sell. i wanna propose but i don't know how — Unsigned comment by 120.144.128.67 (talk) at 21:01 on 22 September 2014

Have you gone through the process with Maramal first? If you have, have you done something to raise her disposition? Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 21:05, 22 September 2014 (GMT)

Two Camilla's (pure aniversary editon, no mods or fiddling)[edit]

While Camilla was tucked up in Goldenhills, I entered Riverwood trader. She (or a clone FFxx xxxx xxxx xxxx) was there too. PRID'ing her and returning to Goldenhills, doing a moveto player proved (to me at any rate) it was duplicate. This maybe because I haven't talked to the 2 suitors. — Unsigned comment by 77.111.247.186 (talk) at 14:08 on 20 May 2023 (UTC)
