Shadowkey:Places
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
Shadowkey takes place in the Western Reach, which borders three provinces: Hammerfell, High Rock and Skyrim - the three powers in the War of the Bend'r-mahk. These matter less than the 21 Zones, each of which is represented by a different map in the game.
Zones[edit]
There are 21 zones in Shadowkey. Fifteen of those are marked on the game map, and four of them are split into more than one section.
- Azra's Crossing — a village in Hammerfell where the game begins
- Delfran's Hideout — lair of the bandits who have plundered your village
- Earthtear Caverns — currently a lair filled with spiders but potentially a valuable shelter
- Ghast's Pass — the only gap through a range of mountains
- Twilight Temple — a shrine to the dawn and to the dusk
- Snowline — a tiny village on the Hammerfell/Skyrim border
- Dragonfields — a wooded area west of Dragonstar
- Lakvan's Stronghold — the lair of a Skyrim raider with wider ambitions
- Glacier Crawl — an ancient glacier with a long lost secret
- Loth' Na Caverns — formerly a pilgrim's dream; now an adventurer's nightmare
- Raider's Nest — a den of iniquity and deadly rivalries
- Stout's Trading Post — snowbound wasteland home to a hopeful trader
- Dragonstar — a proud city split by warfare
- Crypt of Hearts — an ancient crypt and home to an ancient horror
- Fearfrost Caverns — caverns called home by a goblin tribe
- Broken Wing — stronghold of a group of deadly raiders
Provinces[edit]
The game of Shadowkey takes place over three of Tamriel's provinces:
- Hammerfell — most of the game takes place here
- High Rock — one zone, Glacier Crawl, lies across the border in High Rock.
- Skyrim — Lakvan's Stronghold and the Crypt of Hearts lie in Skyrim
