Vampire Bloodarrow

Vampire Bloodarrows are vampire archers and members of the Gray Host who can be found in Dark Moon Grotto and Kagnthamz, as well as in unmarked spots throughout Western Skyrim. Bloodarrows of other races can appear during random encounters in base game zones.

Skills and Abilities

Quick Shot

A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage.

Arrow Spray

The enemy shoots a spray of arrows in the direction it is facing as indicated by a red cone. This attack does moderate physical damage as well as snares all enemies hit. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance. Blocking also prevents the snare and reduces the damage.

Volley

The enemy fires continuously at an area as indicated by a red circle. This attack does moderate physical damage over time. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.

Drain Essence

The enemy drains your life force, dealing high magic damage and restoring its health every 1 second for 3 seconds. You must break free from this ability.

Bat Ambush

The enemy teleports into a swarm of bats to the player. This attack does moderate magic damage and knocks down the player briefly.

Red Breath

The enemy sprays a red mist in a cone in front of itself dealing moderate magic damage and knocking down any targets hit by it.

Summon Bound Hemoptera

The enemy summons a Bound Hemoptera, which channels a buff on their summoner that causes them to do twice the damage and take less damage. If the Hemoptera is interrupted, it becomes an Unbound Hemoptera. They will be rebound to their summoner after a few seconds.

Sacrifice Hemoptera

The enemy can destroy its Hemoptera to heal itself.

Dialogue

While exploring, you may come across a Vampire Bloodarrow about to feed on a victim:

Vampire Bloodarrow: "Someone left me dinner."

Vampire Bloodarrow: "Just a quick drink."

Upon starting combat, a Vampire Shadowcaster and a Death Hound will appear:

Vampire Shadowcaster: "You couldn't wait?"
