Sage Svari has asked me to find and return Winter's Bite. She believes it's being held at Faldar's Tooth.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Sage Svari at Fallowstone Hall.
- Retrieve Winter's Bite from Faldar's Tooth.
- Return to Svari.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
You may pick up this quest as soon as you return Winter's Hammer to Sage Svari, upstairs in Fallowstone Hall:
- "Will you do something else for us? You've already done so much!"
- What can I do?
- "Rumor has it that one of the most dangerous of our missing relics—Winter's Bite—is being held in Faldar's Tooth. Would you return it to us?"
- I'll do my best.
Speaking with her again:
- "Please return as soon as you find Winter's Bite!"
You do not actually need to enter the delve. Winter's Bite is wielded by a bandit boss named Thorfa, who is located just outside the entrance to the delve. Simply kill the boss and loot her corpse to find the relic, then return it to Sage Svari upstairs at Fallowstone Hall:
- "Did you find Winter's Bite?"
- I've brought Winter's Bite back.
- "Winter's Bite! How can I ever thank you?"

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
