You will find Ra-shadda in a barn. Speak to him.

"You bring Ra-shadda the Idol of the Hollow Moon, yes? Moons guide you, stranger."
Is it true you summoned that monster?
"Yes. Ra-shadda's beautiful wife, his most precious Jazadi … their lashes stripped her fur to the bone. She died from their torture. That is why this one called the dro-m'Athra.
Ra-shadda regrets this. Trading hate only brings more suffering."
What is a dro-m'Athra?
"If Ra-shadda had many nights, he could explain. We integrate Tamriel's gods with our own, so we can blend in. We also do this to amuse ourselves.
But there are Khajiiti spirits outside of Tamriel's pantheon. Dark spirits. They are dro-m'Athra."
How do we stop this one? / How do we stop it?
"Use the idol on the dark spirits, then kill them to charge it. While you hold the idol, anything that possesses you will cease to be. This is how we stop the monster.
This one must apologize to Ruvali. Meet us in her home when the idol is charged."

Ra-shadda will then sneak out of the stables and into the Manothrel's home.

When you meet up with Ra-shadda in the stables, you'll find him bound.

<Ra-shadda cannot speak. He's gagged.>

You can speak with him if you decide to free him:

"Ra-shadda will tell the moons about you, so they will always watch over and guide you."'

If you choose to free him, he flees the plantation to start his life anew after the quest.

If you decide Ra-shadda should be punished:

"Dark Elves view Ra-shadda's people as animals. They butcher the ones they do not enslave.
Ra-shadda did not believe their wicked, cowardly blood ran through you. He was wrong."

If you choose to allow Ruvali to punish him, you will find him dead on the floor after you return from killing Ulov's double. She strangled him to death.

Notes[edit]

  • In the original quest description of Shattering Mirror, his name was spelled Ra'shadda; this was fixed in a patch.

Bugs[edit]

  • Even if you decide to free him, Ra-shadda may act like you chose the other option if you talk to him as he is leaving.
