Analysis of Ossein Cage Sketches
An analysis of massive bones found in a region of Coldharbour

Analysis of the skeletal remains sighted in Coldharbour's Ossein Cage region by the renowned Daedrologist, Endemel Githendas

I received sketches of enormous, almost comically large skeletal remains from a colleague specializing in Coldharbour's Daedric studies. The sketches came with an inquiry as, in all their studies, they never glimpsed evidence in Molag Bal's domain of any creature that reached this scale. Their query was if my records indicated that such a creature could exist.

Of course, not all Daedra adhere to the same heights or scales. Some stand taller than others with little explanation that they are willing to give to lowly mortals. I have seen Infernium large enough to swallow a Pahmer-Raht [sic] whole and others small enough to threaten a femur and little else. But these sketches indicate a creature that, I assume, is either the result of a hoax or some magical torture the likes of which has never been recorded by the denizens of Nirn.

None of the drawings show a full creature, though from the skulls alone I can make some deductions. I see evidence of thoracic structures attached to the crown. In plain terms, the skull bones appear to be fused with something that looks not dissimilar to a ribcage. This leads me to believe that either the researchers in the field of Daedrology have expanded to include someone of great creative merit, or that this is the result of some thaumatological meddling. In the realm of a Daedric Prince so focused on inducing pain in others, it is not beyond reason to assume that Molag Bal has means of exacting the torment he so desires on the very bone structure of his victims.

I would say that while these sketches are disturbing, they are not the result of an ill-advised jest. They are also not indicative of an undiscovered type of Daedra. They appear to be the creations of a very powerful being who wants nothing more than to induce dread and unease into all who would gaze upon them.
