Audens doesn't attack when in Sneak mode[edit]

I do confirm this. He found me in my Skingrad House while i was sneaking (like always in my house). He didn't attacked me and now he stays there. Quite funny, because he talks with housemaid. -- Roi Danton

No, he doesn't attack if he can't detect you, which isn't the same thing. He just jumped me while I was stealing Hrormir's Icestaff (talk about terrible timing) and woke up Traven, grr.--Aliana 11:15, 28 October 2008 (EDT)
After a couple of retries, it seems he may attack immediately, or (bug, and not fixed by UOP) he may go through the Trespassing Warnings (if you're trespassing like I was at the time) before attacking.  :)--Aliana 11:29, 28 October 2008 (EDT)
Even better, grabbing the Staff then retreating to the Council Chamber (where I'm not trespassing) and waiting for him there caused Irlav to attack him, and while they were fighting one of them shouted "Thief! I'll get Hrormir's Icestaff back, dead or alive!", which must be one of the least-heard pieces of dialog ever. I couldn't tell who said it, and I can't find it in the Construction Set so the wording may not be exact.

Audens killed before he finds a character?[edit]

It's funny, but Audens never came after me (I was about level 10 and way past 10 days of game time, and I forgot about him). Exploring Horn Cave I found his body (with note talking about escaping) near a Wisp in a small room that had a trap door in the floor. Can he wander about and be killed?--Mazogaman 18:53, 27 November 2006 (EST)

Perhaps he followed you in the cave without you noticing and was killed by a creature? While i was doing a mages guild quest in a cave with necromancers i found his body next to a necromancer at the exit who had obviously killed him. 195.194.222.10 05:27, 12 February 2007 (EST) alcryt

In one game incarnation of mine, I found his body on the Silver Road just below Bruma, facing the dead body of Aval Uvani. It's safe to say that, sometimes, somebody else will get to him before you have a chance at him.
I think he actually spawns close by before he attacks. I was lining up a sneak shot on a will-of-the-wisp, in a very large chamber whilst raiding a ruins. I was using Detect Life so I know there was only 3 living things in there. I was one and the other 2 were in front of me. Took my shot and Audens started attacking from behind. Took me a while to figure out who the hell he was. Reloaded, and didn't shoot - turned around and Audens was standing in the middle of the room. I was hidden so he didn't attack. There was an oddity though, as initially I killed him and got the message about him being dead, but the second time I ran through the monsters, let Audens follow me, and he was killed out of my sight. I never received the message about him being dead even when I looted the body.

Does Audens ever forget to take revenge?[edit]

If 10 days pass and I'm still below level 5, would Audens still attack me any time after I become level 5? -- Jargon 04:15, 14 December 2006 (EST)

I'll answer my own question since I discovered the answer myself. Yes, Audens did attack me some time after I became level 5. -- Jargon 17:30, 25 January 2007 (EST)
I just met Audens Avidius corpse lying in front of an Oblivion gate that I just closed. I completed the quest beforehand (at least he was arrested successfully days before). Now his corpse just pops up out of nowhere without the imperial armor. I resurrected him because I was curious, I didn't know about his revenge plans before reading this very page. However after resurrection, he just runs up to me and tries to engage conversation, but doesn't say his intended lines, he just talks as if I had started the conversation with any old NPC. He doesn't attack me either, but is following me around. He wears his imperial armor again after resurrection. Death must deal horrible pranks on peoples memories, it seems. I still wonder why he ended up dead in front of the Oblivion gate in the first place. (It was "THE" Bruma gate, by the way). There were no enemies left and it was even guarded by Bruma watchmen. 84.155.249.109 20:14, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
He presumably followed you into the Gate and then died inside. —Legoless (talk) 20:23, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
So he isn't hostile anymore because his death and consecutive resurrection removed his hostility? I thought the quest script might have presumed what he was intending to do. But... if he usually attacks instantly without talking, that might explain it. 84.155.249.109 22:19, 20 October 2018 (UTC)

Quest from Ruslan?[edit]

I entered the Temple District at night to do some thieving, and I saw Ruslan, whom I was about to pickpocket when I got this quest. Anyone else get this?-- Hobojoe

Quest Problem[edit]

For some reason luronk or ruslan may not talk to you about the incident in this case you for some reason cannot do the quest it happens to me which sucks

Any chance you just haven't raised their disposition high enough? Or are you saying that you don't have the topics show up when you talk to them? In that case, you just haven't started the quest yet because you haven't overheard the rumors. In any case, from the information you've given there's no sign that you've hit a glitch. --Nephele 22:47, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

Bug ?[edit]

I have finished the thieves guild and the main quest but when I attempt this quest I can never find Servatius Quintilius. The marker drects me to the Imperial waterfront but he is never there even when I wait at diffrent times of the day. i think ihave found a bug.can anyone help me on this issue??

Have you checked the waterfront buildings? I've found him in the Bloated Float inn once
I once walked in on a heated battle between Servatius Quintilius and the pirates on the waterfront. Some guards joined in, but Servatius died. Since he is not essential, he stayed dead. When it came time for me to do this quest, sure enough, the marker directed me to the exact spot he died on, and even the corpse had gone. Now I have to scour the city looking for Itius Hayn the hard way, and hope that I can continue this quest once I find him. I found Itius walking in Talos Plaza, talked to him and the quest is now progressing fine.
I had a similar problem, i am Arch Mage and for some reason the mage apprentices in arcane university are always fighting with the imperial battlemages, they always kill each other, one day i walked up and there were 4 dead battlemages and a dead apprentice surrounding Servatius Quintilius' body, I searched and found him wandering in the Talos Plaza district. - Syko_CoNoR
At some point you must have had the guards chasing you while at the Arcane University and the other mages must have come to your aid(killed the guards). Since they now have bounties on their heads and the guards keep respawning, these skirmishes will go on until the mages are all dead(they respawn too) which is very unlikely because the guards are heavily outnumbered and even if they do manage to kill one mage, there are always a few others who'll kill the guard and the cycle continues. --Sundar 03:09, 10 November 2007 (EST)

Ruslan is worried[edit]

I convinced Ruslan and Luronk gro-Glurzog to testify, then waited until the next morning to see what would happen. The quest said I should keep an eye on them, so I went back to Luronk's house. Right before I got there, Ruslan stopped me and said he was worried about his friend Luronk. I thought this was a quest update, like maybe he got killed for testifying. However, Luronk was in his house, talking about how he was going to lay low for a while. Going back to Ruslan gave the same comment - he was worried.

Since nothing at all was happening, I went to another town to do another quest. Upon arrival in town, I got the note that the arrest had been made. I don't know if my level has anything to do with it (32) or that I have already completed the main quest line.

-Z

Quest Bug[edit]

This has happened every time he escapes.

First of all, I was hiding in a small room in the Chrool Barracks, and there he sat in the room with me after I waited for 14 hours until midnight to sneak into the dungeons man. He didn't even notice me until after I spoke to him or I walked out of the room, and when he attakced the Chrool Guards defended me but also attacked me and put a 40 gold bounty on my head for no reason! I wasn't tresspassing as the room's door didn't have a red symbol on it, and every time i re-loaded it happened again, even afetr the fight had finished and then the three Fighters Guild Members started defending me man, and I don't know why. Does anyone know the answer to this? The Chorrol Guard owes me 40 gold, I had to pay the gold as i had no other choice unless I wanted to be a fugitive.

Audens Avidius able to arrest while in prison?[edit]

I removed the following from the main page.

==Bugs==

  • After Audens Avidius has been put in jail, he continues to have the ability to arrest your character, if your character has a bounty.

I think that this was a random one-time glitch, or (more likely as this was reported to me which is why I was testing it out and read this page) a mod's doing. It's certainly not repeatable and not for lack of trying (set bounty to over a thousand before going in to visit him, murdered an Imperial Watch in front of him, punched him up... no arrest and when talked to after yielding he would just say the same "Someday when I get out" or some such greeting. The stage scripting correctly changes his class from guard to warrior and pulls him out of the Watch and Watch Captains factions, so it's not possible for guard dialog and behavior to persist. If anyone can confirm any circumstances otherwise, please post them here. -- Kivan 19:50, 16 May 2008 (EDT)

I'm going to put this one back. I've already confirmed the bounty when he attacks because the game thinks that he's still in the Guard class, so it's quite probable that for some people he can still display arrest behavior as well. Kivan 22:28, 15 July 2008 (EDT)

how has this never been mentioned?[edit]

10 days have passed. im well over level 5 (and i was at the time of the quest, too) and still, Audens has never come to attack me. he isnt in the jail, either. he has, for all intents and purposes, ceased to exist. Baconator96 22:49, 23 August 2008 (EDT)

Try waiting for a long time somewhere. He's probably wandering around trying to find you. –RpehTCE 05:24, 24 August 2008 (EDT)

He probably got killed by something while trying to find you. --SerCenKing Talk 23:13, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Items of note[edit]

I received the quest from Raslan, without ever having spoken to Luronk. Also, I have completed the Theives Guild quest chain and Hieronymus Lex is no longer a resident of the Imperial City. His replacement Servatius Quintilius said he was "too new" to challenge another Watch captain, and sent me to Itius Hayn. 70.210.43.181 00:18, 16 September 2008 (EDT) Lady Grey

Can't do mission[edit]

Moved from main article

my character cant do this mission it jensine wont talk to me about the imperial corruption guy and she has fer diposition of 100 on her................help— Unsigned comment by 70.58.163.39 (talk) at 17:14 on 23 December 2008

You have to talk to one of the robbed guys first (Luronk or Ruslan) before Jensine will talk to you about Audens Avidius.

Unable to complete the mission.[edit]

After convincing Ruslan and Luronk gro-Glurzog to testify I went and followed the quest arrow to the guard captain Itius Hayn. At this time I didn't know that you could wait and have the mission complete its self on its own. When I got there Ruslan attacked Itius Hayn and was subsequently killed on the spot. Now how am I supposed to complete the mission with one of my witnesses having been killed? — Unsigned comment by Freyrson (talkcontribs) on 7 January 2009

I'm afraid you can't complete it, if I'm reading things right. Both Ruslan and Luronk must testify in order to cause the quest to update. You'll have to reload an earlier save. –RpehTCE 07:35, 7 January 2009 (EST)
Not sure if you're on PC or not, but could you use a console command to update the quest? piphil 08:03, 7 January 2009 (EST)
I was assuming console, since the setstage instructions are already on the page... If it's the PC then the Quest Stages list will indeed help. I'm guessing that if you run setstage MS26 71 it should update correctly. –RpehTCE 08:12, 7 January 2009 (EST)

Where is Luronk?[edit]

I have the problem that I don`t find Luronk when I ahve to get him to testify...? I have spoken to Jensine and the other guy.Worked fine then but Luronk is gone. Not in house or in city.On map he is shwon in the Arbotorium, not there.Help anyone? — Unsigned comment by StormRage88 (talkcontribs) on 10 February 2009

I just added full details of his schedule to his page. Hopefully that will help you find him. –RpehTCE 16:38, 10 February 2009 (EST)
Ok thanks but the problem is that the map marker always shows that he is at arboretum.Night and day,al the same.I ahve looked in his house every hour in the day.In arboretum too.Mayby I have to update the quest or something like that.I dont know...(??) — Unsigned comment by StormRage88 (talkcontribs)
As Rpeh pointed out the schedule is available on his page, which he he also gave you the link to. If you quest marker doesn't work simply ignore it and use the schedule on-site as reference. In case that doesn't work it probably means that you haven't progressed in the quest far enough: have you already talked to Itius Hayn? --SerCenKing 13:14, 18 February 2009 (EST)

A couple of bugs[edit]

1) After asking Luronk to testify, I "waited" inside his home until morning. Come morning, he kept mumbling "I'm looking for Itius" but did not budge. I left and came back... still nothing. After a few days when I went back, they had testified.

2) I went to the prison to see Audens. I asked the guard to "Visit a prisoner" and he led me down. While I was down there, the guard stuck to me like glue... until I asked to visit a prisoner again. The guard responded by going back upstairs and closing the door behind him, leaving me alone in the jail to do as I pleased (whereby I picked the locks on all of the cells). -–BlueCat Talk

Jensine's Disposition won't increase?[edit]

I've spent a while getting her disposition up to 68, but it says it's maxed! I need it to 70, and I'm unknowing when it comes to disposition and stuff, so how can I make it 70? I've talked to Ruslan ect but she says "I dont trust you." every time. Can someone help? :( — Unsigned comment by 86.150.69.196 (talk) on 1 June 2009

Avidius randomly killed[edit]

I was walking around the Imperial City just getting started on a new game, when two imperial guards ran up and mauled Audens Avidius for no discernable reason. I haven't started the quest, haven't even met the quest NPC's yet. Anyone know what the **** is going on? I'm using a lot of mods, but none that concern him (as far as I know).

Well he somehow had to have had a bounty on his head, but if you are positive a mod didn't affect it then I have no clue what could have happened. --Dremora Lord 22:21, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Could be a scripting error, the quest script lowers his responsibility, so perhaps a glitch lowered it early or something, prompting him to steal and thus gain a bounty. More likely a mod though, possibly even causing the scenario I just described, though the possiblities are endless Corvus 22:28, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
I am thinking its a mod glitch, Kinda funny the Guards took the law into their own hands though.

Can't find itius hayn[edit]

The quest marker says he is standing in front of a gate in the elven district but hes not there, hes essential isn't he so he can't be dead.

Where's Ruslan?[edit]

After I spoke to Itius Hayn I got the quest arrows, but Ruslan's (green) arrow is somewhere way south outside the walls of Temple Disctrict. When I go outside the city on the other side it's red. What does that mean, maybe he's dead? After weeks of playing the arrow just stays in the same place.

Miill 18:20, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

Usually when that happens, it means the NPC is dead but it's just possible he's trapped somewhere. If you're on the PC, try these Console commands:
  • prid 0001DA93
  • moveto player
If that doesn't make him appear next to you, add
  • resurrect 1
  • enable
If you're not on the PC, it probably means you can't finish the quest. rpeh •TCE 19:03, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

Tnx, but unfortunately I'm on PS3 :( — Unsigned comment by Miill (talkcontribs) on 20 May 2010

Well... maybe try waiting outside the Imperial City for a few hours. Sorry... I can't think of anything else. rpeh •TCE 22:38, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

I think i have killed Ruslan some time, so i can't finish the quest. is there anything i can do?

On the consoles no. If you are on the PC you can use those commands above.--Corevette789 15:25, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

+1 Fame if Audens is killed trying to find player?[edit]

I'm playing on 360 if it helps any. I had Audens arrested on day 92 and now it is day 123. I've been kind of wondering when this guy is going to pop up or if he's been waylayed somewhere. I am using 100% Chameleon so I figured maybe he's hanging out in one of the towns chatting with people and I'd have to backtrack to find him. But currently I am doing only Dark Brotherhood quests. I am using the Cowl of Nocturnal to make sure I don't gain any infamy when completing the quests. I just completed "The Assassinated Man" and noticed I had 28 fame and 29 infamy rather than 27 and 29. I even loaded a save from prior to killing Valen Dreth, just to check and it was 27 and 29. However between then and now I have done nothing to warrant an increase in fame. I've only been doing the Dark Brotherhood quests. So I'm thinking maybe Audens died and I gained a fame point? Or maybe it's from ranking up to eliminator? I didn't think there was an addition to fame for gaining ranks, but I've been wrong before. I Checked the quest log for Imperial Corruption and it hasn't updated. I dunno.

Thanks, -Ryan — Unsigned comment by 68.14.136.86 (talk) on 5 September 2010

I took a look at the scripting and you only get the fame point if you kill Audens yourself - you never get an infamy point. Additionally, you only get the quest update telling you that he's dead if he's within 1024 units of you when he dies, so if something killed him while he was trying to get to you, you'll never know about it.
Since you're on a console, I'm afraid there's no way of finding out for sure if he's still alive. rpeh •TCE 08:57, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks Brother, I just went and checked the Imperial prison hes still hanging out over there. I guess hes just taking his sweet time escaping. I would of sworn he wasn't there last time I checked. I even remember entering all the cells and killing all the prisoners and guards =). Sorry, I'm an idiot. -Ryan — Unsigned comment by 68.14.136.86 (talk) on 5 September 2010
Also remember that he won't leave the prison until you're at least level 5, although by the sound of it, that's not the problem. rpeh •TCE 10:04, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Got him, day 133, Gweden Farm. -Thanks!

Biggest glitch[edit]

I didn't even start this quest and after playing 80 hours (gameplay), i slept in my house (Benirus Manor in Anvil) and he came out of nowhere and tried to kill me. And after that there is a popup mesgae saying i completed Imperial Corruption and that Audens Avidius escaped out of prison! He sad I will have my revenge! while fighting me. I thought why the hell is he attacking me, i don't even know him. I NEVER started the quest. This is very weird i tried reloading a previous save file and the same happened to me again! Did someone else find this glitch?

What happended to Audens?[edit]

I have been waiting for more than 10 days yet Audens never comes, I checked the Imperial Prison and he is not there, I use GetStage console to check and the quest is still at stage 91 while it should be 95 in which Audens is imprisoned. Now what i'm suppose to do?117.4.246.66 08:32, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Moved notes[edit]

  • Occasionally, neither Ruslan nor Luronk gro-Glurzog will give you the quest. This can usually be resolved by trying at another time of the day or at another location.
    • When Audens puts the bounty on your head the nearest guard will try to arrest you. If you can avoid the encounter, however, all guards will attack (and kill) Audens instead. You will still have a 1000-gold bounty on your head, though.

I've been pruning notes, if you feel these are relevant feel free to re-add them.

Imperial corruption glitch[edit]

Hello guys I really need help. I'm very far through the game (done all the guilds + daedra shrines) but for some reason, Jensine will not tell me who the corrupt officer is? and I cant progress through this mission. I tried hunting this officer (I forget his name) but he's not following his routine. I pretty sure I haven't killed him, I'm pretty good apart from the guilds. I'm playing xbox so I can't do console. Has anybody else come across this glitch. Am I going to have to give up the idea of completing this quest, or does anybody have a solution?

•Started a new game and finished the quest. I've got a feeling you better do this quest before the thieves guild quest getting rid of lex. Or it was just a random glitch where Audens just completely disapeared or died without me knowing. (GoHurtSomething 19:35, 11 April 2011 (UTC))

Possible to complete quest by killing Audens?[edit]

So as near as I can tell, if Audens dies, say by an "accidental" fireball spell, before I talk to Lex, the quest becomes impossible to complete, right? Is there a workaround for this? I'd like to finish the quest in a manner more fitting my assassin/mage, you know, without a bunch of NPCs thinking he's some kind of hero.

Thanks 69.123.216.180 04:36, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Free Audens![edit]

I've just returned to the Imperial City after having completed the Imperial Corruption quest more than ten days ago. Much to my suprise, I have found Audens walking around in a Blue and Green outfit keeping his schedule as though nothing is wrong. He even makes small talk with guards and citizens that he passes by. When spoken to, he replies, "I've just been arrested for corruption, so I'm not in the mood to talk.". Nobody is following him or taking him off to prison. I wasn't following Luronk, Ruslan, or Itius at the very end of the quest; I just waited for the pop-ups to advise me that everything was taken care of and Avidius was arrested. Maybe he has an ankle monitor... --184.91.88.250 23:11, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

Very, very unusual. I'm going to guess that it's caused by a mod, since he'd have to get those clothes from somewhere. rpeh •TCE 23:19, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
I believe his clothes to be the standard blue and green outfit. Looking at his NPC page, these are his 'sleep' clothes before he gets sent to jail. Perhaps something interrupted the script. Legoless 23:24, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
Yeah I was just looking at that (as well as a dozen other things!). Can you try picking his pocket? If he still has the Imperial Guard Armor, you're still at < stage 91. If he doesn't have it, you're at 91+ but something is stopping him going to jail. rpeh •TCE 23:29, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

Fast Travel Bug[edit]

(moved from the article)

If you fast-travel or go to another location after Itius Hayn's quest marker disappears in Imperial Corruption, he will disappear from the game completely until the quest is completed. If this happens, do not follow Avidius around; you will not receive the quest completion so long as the two of you are in the same location.

Can't understand this. Needs rewriting. rpeh •TCE 12:41, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Just curious but should this be added somewhere within the Article?[edit]

If you go up to Adamus Phillida (Commander of the Legion, though I imagine some Captain duties might fall under him) and bring up the "Corrupt Imperial Watchman" option, he says the exact same thing as any other guard would If you've got a complaint, tell it to the Watch Captain. I've got better things to do than listen to you whine. then of course it gives you the two further options. Just curious if this should be added as a note, if not I understand. TVthePunisher 21:08, 20 August 2011 (UTC)

he attacked me early[edit]

When Hayn went and arrested him, after Audens changed to his street clothes, he immediately began attacking me in front of Hayn and 2 other Imperial Watch. I was curious for my own satisfaction if that was a glitch, or if I may have inadvertently done something along the way to just tick him off. Eric Snowmane 19:34, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

Delayed Reward.[edit]

PS3 Version, after he is arrested you have to wait for him to be escorted to jail to receive any kind of reward. (Jensine Disposition, +1 Fame) I kept re-loading thinking this was a bug, but after finally giving up about 5 mins later I looked and saw the +1 fame, then went to Jensine and confirmed her disposition went up by about 25 pts. — Unsigned comment by 68.226.13.200 (talk) at 20:12 on 1 December 2012‎

The guards attacked me[edit]

I was walking around town, when, after walking out of "A Fighting Chance", Audens started attacking me AND all Imperial City guards in sight were chasing me. One caught me, and it acted like it would if you were caught committing a crime. Thinking it was just a minor glitch, I paid my bounty of 40 gold, but when I got back to playing, Audens was waiting for me right outside! He attacked me, and all the guards started going berserk. They attacked other guards, they attacked Audens, and they attacked me. Audens was killed, I ran, and got out of the situation. I kept on running, before coming upon a guard patrolling outside city walls. I walked up to him, and he promptly got off his horse, pulled his weapon and tried to kill me. I ran for a good 5 minutes before no longer being chased, saved my game, and got off my Xbox 360. I think this is a glitch, and if so, could someone tell me how to fix it? I have Xbox 360 Game GOTYE, if it helps. — Unsigned comment by 108.183.56.106 (talk) at 19:24 on 29 March 2013‎

"If Audens attacks the player when there are any guards nearby, this will usually result in the player getting an assault bounty (40 gold) . . ." Is listed as "being fixed by the unoffical patch" (which I do have installed) but I still have this problem. He jumped me in Chorral's castle, I never even drew a weapon (letting the guards gack him) and still got a 40G bounty -- I had to run for it, then come back and pay it off. After reloading a save -- because I ran the wrong way into the throne room and caused an unending fracas between the guards and the castle staff that'd taken a liking to me. The ork died![edit]

When I first started oblivion,I had some fun with frenzy spells and killed off everyone in the Imperial City, including the ork,so I can't get the ork to accuse the guard, and the marker just points to the spot where he died. I tried to break in his house with the key,but he wasn't there so I am stuck at this spot with no earlier saves and I'm on Xbox so I can't just progress through the quest with commands, I really hope this glitch will be fixed. — Unsigned comment by 73.189.170.200 (talk) at 18:57 on 6 June 2015‎

There is no glitch to fix here. Killing people and then not being able to complete quests involving them is a part of the game. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:26, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
If a quest-essential NPC has died and the quest hasn't been marked "complete" as a failed quest, it shouldn't stay active, should it? Wouldn't it be "complete" and say in the journal, "One of the people needed to complete this quest has died." or something similar? Dragon Guard  (talk) 20:48, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
Not all quests do that. This one doesn't and will stay active forever. —Legoless (talk) 21:17, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
^Which could be because the developers didn't add a relevant "completed" stage. If on PC, find another quest, move an NPC that if killed fails that quest over to this one, load the game, kill the NPC in question, and voila! The "glitch" is fixed. This is (I suppose) a similar case to Captain Aldis' quests. Quoting Skyrim:Captain Aldis - 'If you finish the Stormcloaks quest Battle for Solitude, Aldis will no longer be part of the city. Consequently any quests involving him that have been started will point to a blank ground, where Aldis previously stood." Similar scenario, I guess? Quest markers pointing to where people were... A "completed" stage for failing the quest this way is either because "It's just not made well." OR "The developers don't expect you to kill entire cities." I think the latter is why because killing "the ork" isn't normal gameplay. Dragon Guard  (talk) 15:41, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
