Journal not triggered on death[edit]

Hello, I recently undertook this quest and found the husband in the underworks. I killed it using frost spells (was training Willpower at the time) and looted the corpse. But, for some reason, the journal did not update properly so I used the journal console command to add the entry manually. Has this happened to any of you guys? 80.103.163.114 10:19, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

The same guy here. After doing some testing, the journal updates after you manage to kill the corprus stalker and it finishes its death animation. For some reason, the script to update my journal didn't do anything when I killed the corprus stalker. Also, looking for ocurrrences of this glitch, I've found threads on other sites where people complain of the same bug. 80.103.163.114 10:45, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

That is odd. About the only thing I can see that would prevent the journal entry on its death is if your menu happened to be opened at the instant it died. Maybe just bad timing on your part... --Brf 13:00, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

The same for me. it didn't update. Maybe because I killed him and disposed of his corpse immediately. 81.190.144.179 23:00, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

I've also had this happen, so I've created a Bugs section on the page for it.

There being more than one unexplained bug in the St. Olms Underworks may easily be a coincidence, but I wonder if someone can investigate the possibility that there is some incompatibility between the programming of the quests and the programming of the Underworks?
