That dear Orc/Khajit with a nice tail will need a dose of moonsugar before he tells you his little secret.

Bug[edit]

This quest always bugs for me. The final blessing stays and stays, and can only be removed with a console command.

Avoiding the negative "blessing"[edit]

Other people have probably already figured this out, but a handy way to avoid the Drain effects from the statue works the same was as the Boots of Blinding Speed: a short duration 100% Resist Magicka effect will prevent the Drain while still keeping the Fortify effects. --Dragos Drakkar (talk) 21:20, 11 August 2016 (UTC)

Unrelated I believe, but I am also experiencing the same problem that the unnamed user reported in the Bug part of the page here: one of the blessings isn't being removed at the end of the time. Unfortunately, I am using the Xbox GOTYE version of the game, so it's a bit difficult for me to use a console command to get rid of this seemingly glitched effect. --Dragos Drakkar (talk) 21:41, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
The effect did eventually wear off, though it took about six days in game rather than half a day like the other three effects from the same bonus. Does the Willpower bonus effect (that's the one that glitched for me at least) from that blessing just have an incorrectly long duration compared to the other three or something? --Dragos Drakkar (talk) 23:03, 11 August 2016 (UTC)

Belittling Edits[edit]

Yo, can we please not make facetious comments about peoples gender identities by making joke edits saying "its 2020, lets be politically correct" and "its bigoted wording" when 'fixing' wording about an orc being driven insane into thinking he's a khajiit or an armor bug giving someone breasts? see also: Morrowind:Sirollus_Saccus and Morrowind:Ra'Gruzgob edit history. Jacksol (talk) 04:43, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

You are misinterpreting the point of those messages. The point of stating its 2020 is because wording it as "Thinks he is a Khajiit" is insensitive, and the outdated terminology used on the pages you listed is due to the fact that it was written as products of their time. In the modern day, it is inappropriate to reduce someone's identity, and even in the context that the Orc is crazy due to Sheogorath's influence, the right to label yourself as something isn't reserved exclusively to Neurotypicals. In Sirollus' edit history, you will see that I made efforts to remove anything that is offensive to those who like to cross dress, or other labels used on people who live outside the so called "social norms", labels that can be seen as bigoted today. Have you considered that Le Femme armor is not even a bug, and that the armor was designed to be worn by those in touch with their feminine side? The fact that you are considering that these edits are belittling seems to me that you have some bias with these editions because they were made by me. Would you have had a problem if another editor had done them? Zebendal (talk) 06:02, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
I have reworded the article to reflect the facts established within the game. The only thing we know for sure is that Ra'Guzgrob says that he is a Khajiit. Why he says he is a Khajiit is a matter for pure speculation. He may "identify" as a Khajiit, as Zebendal believes. He may be mad (he is a follower of Sheogorath, after all). He may be delirious because he has consumed too much moon sugar (he asks you for some, after all). He may simply be having a laugh at your expense. Any of these reasons may be as valid as another. The bottom line is that we have no hard evidence as to the basis of his statement. In light of this, I have edited the article to reflect the facts as presented in-game, as is the purpose of the UESP Wiki. — Wolfborn(Howl) 11:49, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
