Time for de-stubbing?[edit]

should this article be de-stubbed? There's not much more to cover, I believe. — Unsigned comment by Temple-Zero (talkcontribs)

I added a quote and removed the stub tag. --BenouldTC 22:48, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Shor, not Shezzar[edit]

I'm not so sure of how relevant that quote it. Wulfharth is the bloodthirsty one, Shor, not Shezzar. This one would fit better:

...during the Late Merethic Era the legendary immortal hero, warrior, sorceror, and king variously known as Pelinal Whitestrake, Harrald Hairy Breeks, Ysmir, Hans the Fox, etc., wandered Tamriel, gathering armies, conquering lands, ruling, then abandoning his kingdoms to wander again. Age?[edit]

Being born in Atmora, when the last ship ever to come from there arrived in 1E68, and considering the fact that his reign over skyrim started 1E480 and lasted about 53 years, this would make Wulfharth well over 465 years old! Ain't it at least worth noting in this section?— Unsigned comment by Hlaalu66 (talkcontribs) at 17:22 on 20 September 2016‎

If you read the Atmora page, you'll see that the last invasion of Tamriel from Atmora occurred in 1E68, not the last ship ever from Atmora. It also goes on to say, "The last purported emigrant from Atmora known to history is Tiber Septim in the ninth century of the Second Era". •WoahBro►talk 17:56, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

Not Pelinal[edit]

The events of Skyrim quite clearly show that Ysmir's more of a title than a person. It's a bad look to equate Pelinal with Wulfharth. Let's take off the quote from Before the Ages of Man. — Unsigned comment by 75.184.124.200 (talk) at 23:04 on 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Dragonborn?[edit]

Legit question. In this page Wulfharth is said to be a dragonborn, but the only reference about him being dragonborn I can find is Balgruuf's dialog. Meanwhile, The Arcturian Heresy specifically states he isn't dragonborn (sic: "He goes directly to High Hrothgar to hear the Greybeards speak. When they do, Ysmir is blasted to ash again. He is not the chosen one."). I know Wulfharth lore is a whole mess and both sources aren't super reliable, but I got my head stuck on this issue.
Balgruuf is no scholar, so maybe his version of the story shouldn't be taken over the book. He even refer to Tiber Sptin as Atmoran, witch is its own can or worms. At the same time a lot of dragonborn lore was only added to the game after Skyrim, so maybe we should have this in mind while reading Arcturian Heresy. I'm really not sure on this one. In no way does the Arcturian Heresy claim Wulfharth was not a Dragonborn. It states he wasn’t the figure of prophecy who was to unite Tamriel, but neither is any other individual in history save one Tiber Septim. Balgruf is the only source for Wulfharth being a Dragonborn but there is no source that refutes his claim. Dcking20 (talk) 02:32, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
