Cousin[edit]

Lore:Bangkorai, Shield of High Rock claims that the Imperial Legion is "led by a cousin of that decadent and faithless family [the Tharns]", right before mentioning Septima Tharn. If I'm not interpreting it wrong, is this a good enough source that she's a cousin of the family? (Unsure if she's Clivia's cousin though, I've never seen any source for it.) —<({QT>> 18:03, 30 June 2014 (GMT)

It's a confusing issue, to be sure. Several sources say she's the commander of the Seventh Legion, but I don't know if that makes her the head of the Legion in its entirety. In the Third Era, at least, the Imperial Legion is led by a Grand Marshall. The Tharns have held many high places in Cyrodiil as early as the Alessian Empire. It's possible there's another Tharn besides Septima that it could be referring to. I was waiting for more in-game insights and corroboration before declaring her the leader of the entire Legion. It would need to be quite concrete to overrule her own thoughts, as she signs herself off as "Magus-General, Imperial Seventh Legion" in the Orders for Attius. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:50, 30 June 2014 (GMT)

Cousin or Sister?[edit]

The game implies that Septima is a cousin of the Tharn family, but Clivia's meet the character feature says that Septima was Clivia's older sister. What's the best way to note the discrepancy in the article? Which if either should take precedence?--StormySkies (talk) 22:20, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Probably best to just mention both possibilities in the first paragraph. An explanatory note might also be a good idea, but not really necessary in my opinion. —Legoless (talk) 22:26, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
