Conversation upon return to the college[edit]
Even after 200+ hours into this game, it still can surprise. I didn't even know this conversation took place until today. But i digress, the reason for this post is i cant find any mention to this conversation at all on any wiki. So i recorded it, and uploaded it. link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnPMyA3u2pw&feature=youtu.be Kremlin16 02:36, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
Writing on the orb...[edit]
The writing/glyphs on the Eye are certainly of the Elder Alphabet. Also, the lines resemble those found on the Scrolls. So, the Eye could potentially deal with the Scrolls, somehow. — Unsigned comment by 50.200.21.195 (talk) at 02:25 on 22 February 2013
- They really don't look like the Elder Alphabet to me. They don't look like any other language, in fact. Quantheory (talk) 08:13, 23 November 2013 (GMT)
Eye of Magnus and the stone[edit]
Could this be the stone of the Throat of the World? Bleeding may refer to the ruptures that the Eye of Magnus makes in Skyrim. 86.18.161.52 17:01, 13 October 2014 (GMT)
- I can't see any correlation. Seems more like a McGuffin than anything. —Legoless (talk) 18:09, 13 October 2014 (GMT)
- I think that this is an interesting suggestion, but I agree with Legoless. We have no sources/scholars that connect the Eye to Snow-Throat. Also, the one out-of-game hint we have says that the stone for the Throat of the World is a cave. Quantheory (talk) 02:47, 18 October 2014 (GMT)
Revealing The Unseen and the Oculary[edit]
During the quest Revealing the Unseen you help a mage of the Synod, Paratus, with the Oculorly which projects a map of magical hotspots across Tamriel. However, only the Eye of Magnus and Staff of Magnus appear on the map suggesting the power of the Eye of Magnus either supersedes that of every other artifact in Tamriel, including the 3 Elder Scrolls in Skyrim, or clouds the result of the Oculory in some other way. --SerHubris (talk) 05:26, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
