Senecus Goddkey was a Colovian officer of the Imperial Legion[1] active in the late Second Era. He is most well-known as the short-time Provisional Governor of Sentinel after Baron Volag of the Forebears disappeared from the public eye.[2]

After the Purge of the North drove out the Crowns from Sentinel in 2E 862, Baron Volag and his Forebears took over the capital city, however, as the Crowns were cornered in Stros M'Kai, Volag and his forces retreated to the wilderness and left Sentinel without a leader.[3] As per tradition in the newly formed Third Empire, Colovian officers; some of the most exemplary members of Tiber Septim's army were named Provisional Governors of human regions.[1] Senecus Goddkey was given the status of Provisional Governor in Sentinel and took up Samuruik; Sentinel's seat of power as his headquarters.[2][3]

Under his reign, the city underwent an Imperial reorganization and became an exotic retreat for nobles across the Iliac Bay. People from Daggerfall and Wayrest traveled to Sentinel to dine on local cuisine, enjoy native craftsmanship and visit the Royal Theatre.[2] However, after the events that transpired in Stros M'Kai in 2E 864, in which fellow Governor Amiel Richton was assassinated, Baron Volag returned from hiding and retook Sentinel for himself. What happened to Senecus Goddkey from that is unknown.[4]
