The Crescent Blade
by Kaigo, hadaliit of the Hidden Moon
A treatise talking about how a sword is nothing without the strength of the arm that wields it and the faith that it is used correctly

Even the most perfect instrument of Azurah's making is not sharp enough to cut without one to wield it.

Such is the duality of our kind, echoed in all things: the inner curve and the outer edge of the blade. The arm and the blade itself. Dawn and dusk. Jone and Jode.

But what holds such duality in balance? Faith. A promise of guidance. There is beauty in our many phases of being. The myriad ways one soul may brighten or shadow another. We bend and we straighten ourselves, or we are straightened again by the careful hand of one who loves us.

Whether Azurah, or more likely, those we call our friends.
