Felix Lamarche working in the Trans-Niben Company offices

Felix Lamarche is a Breton merchant who lives in Leyawiin. He runs the local branch of the Trans-Niben Company.

Felix wakes up at 5am every morning and gets the building ready for business; he opens at 8am and remains on duty until 8pm. After closing up, he eats dinner, spends a few hours doing paperwork, and goes upstairs to bed at 1am.

He wears a plaid shirt, short britches, and quilted shoes; he carries a mug, a bottle of brandy, a wedge of Gottlesfont Blue, 134 gold, and a key to the building.

Felix lives in the quarters on the upper floor of the building. The main room has three beds—each with its own chest—along with a pair of armoires; an inner office has an executive desk, couch, and bookshelves lining two walls.

When you gain enough reputation, Felix will send you a letter requesting your help with a delicate matter: one of his employees, Bertrand Lumier, has run off with a lot of money and documents, though he takes a bit to get to the point: "Oh, yes. Thank you for responding. Our company adheres to the principle of unconditional trust in its experienced employees. Unfortunately, we cannot always check the loyalty of each employee. So sometimes the company... Ahem... I'm sorry. In short, we suspect that one of our men stole some money and ran away with it. His name is Bertrand Lumier. Our trusted messenger. He usually carried mail and money to pay for special orders."
