Welcome![edit]

Hello Niffweed17! Welcome to the wiki. I hope you enjoy using the site and find the information on it useful. If you decide you want to help improve any of our pages, we're always welcoming to new editors so feel free. You might want to look at our Getting Started page for some tips on how to begin, then play in our Sandbox for a while to practice. If you need any help or advice, please ask one of our mentors. Enjoy! --- Game LordTalk|Contribs 12:23, 24 December 2008 (EST)

i'm very very familiar with wiki formatting, operations, and policy, thanks. Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 05:21, 25 December 2008 (EST)
Would you mind removing the "Destroyer of Chickens" part of your signature please? It's not part of your username and can be very distracting when used several times in a discussion. Thanks. –RpehTCE 16:52, 5 January 2009 (EST)
I use the "destroyer of chickens" pseudonym on every wiki I frequent. Never before have I had anyone complain about it, so this request comes as a bit of a surprise to me. If it's really necessary, i can remove it, but I like it as an idiosyncracy and would prefer to keep it. Probably the more immediate problem is that I commented three times in quick succession; which I could have easily consolidated into a single comment -- I did this, in fact, because my wiki experience suggests that it's better to leave more information plainly on the page than remove it, but its certainly a noncritical enough thing to correct.
Would it satisfy you if I simply made an effort to cease signing my name several times in quick succession? Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 17:02, 5 January 2009 (EST)
It wasn't a complaint - just a request. If you're not going to use it three times in rapid succession then that should be okay. The "Show preview" button would help to avoid such problems in the future. –RpehTCE 17:10, 5 January 2009 (EST)
Well, they were three separate edits that could easily have been consolidated into one line... whatever; I get the feeling this is a really trifling issue. I will try to avoid poor commenting wikiquette in the future. Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 17:15, 5 January 2009 (EST)
