Welcome[edit]

Hi, Aldage. I've just noticed that we've never welcomed you to the site. Let me rectify that straight away by saying "Hello!" and thanking you for the contributions you've already made. Don't forget that you can make edits to any page so if you find yourself asking "Should we...", the answer will often be "Go for it!" The worst that will happen if somebody doesn't like your change is that they revert it, so feel free to be bold in your edits. Have fun on the site. --RpehTCE 08:24, 10 October 2007 (EDT)

Repeating Questions[edit]

For future reference, it's easiest for everyone if you ask a question just once on the most appropriate talk page for that topic. The regular editors on the site will see the question no matter where it was asked; the patrolling system was put in place in part to make it easier to keep track of unanswered questions. If your question is not immediately answered, it's just because nobody has had the time to look into it or because nobody knows the answer. Repeating the question again on a second talk page will not help anyone to answer the question, and having questions/answers on irrelevant talk pages (e.g., details about Isabeau Bienne on the Oblivion:Bravil talk page) will not help other readers to find the answers. In the best case, impatiently repeating the question will just nag someone into making it a higher priority. In the worst case, it results in multiple editors taking the time to answer the exact same question and then clean up the mess of overlapping questions and answers. If you realize that a question you asked isn't on the most appropriate talk page, you can move the question, but please delete the duplicate question from the original talk page to make it easier for everyone else to keep track of what's going on. Thanks. --NepheleTalk 18:42, 14 October 2007 (EDT)
