Welcome[edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our Patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! --Darth NANAME 19:37, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Dunmer Userbox[edit]

Hi Agente00cuyo. As reply to your question how to create the specific Dunmer userbox you wanted (see here), try adding this to your userpage:

{{User Race|Dunmer|This user wishes he was a [[Oblivion:Dunmer|Dunmer]].}}

Which will result in:

LO-race-Dunmer.png This user wishes he was a Dunmer.

Good luck with it. --Timenn-<talk> 11:37, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Welcoming new users[edit]

Hey there Agente00cuyo, thanks for your efforts in welcoming new users to the wiki. If you could use the standard welcome message to give new users links to other helpful areas of the site. You're more than welcome (and encouraged) to personalize the message to your liking, all you need to do is insert the user's name and then edit as you see fit. Anyway, thanks again for your help. -Dlarsh(Talk,Contribs) 20:11, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes, please take this advice. It is good you want to help, but welcoming them with "i agree anyway welcome to the wiki if you want to kill some ogres try to do the potato snatcher and the jemane brothers" is not a good idea. Like Dlarsh said, you can personalize it, but we need the links in the standard welcome message to be delivered to them. Thanks. –Elliot talk 18:24, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
