Hi, I am Lieutenant Davies a 12-13 year old sweedish oblivion fan. I've been a fan of oblivion since last year when I got the game from my cousin, who didn't want it anymore. I hope to be able to help with this wiki (when I'm not playing Oblivion of course :P). I will not be doing much editing, since my time's often a bit limited, but I'll try to be help ful and offer opinions and tips on fixing articles for the better. I hope I'll be welcome to this wiki. For those who are interested, I also like the Halo series, Star Wars The Force Unleashed and Mass Effect.

Oblivion Races Ranking list[edit]

This is a list of the order I like the reaces in oblivion, with the top the most liked, and the bottom the least liked:

  1. Argonian (they're just cool, and I like their water breathing and resist poison and disease abilities)
  2. Orc/Wood Elf (can't really decide which I like more)
  3. Khajiit (thieves? Bah! My cats go in heavy armor and well-forged claymores)
  4. High Elf (wizards? No way, Altmer should have soldiers, and I'm happy to oblige (Altmer-Heavy Armor-Warhammer-Warrior Class))
  5. Imperial (good allround)
  6. Nord (reminds me of my own people :P)
  7. Redguard (Baurus is kinda cool, but I don't like playin with them)
  8. Breton (kind of boring)
  9. Dark Elf (too evil-looking, slavemasters (good Helseth changed that), and also because of their Daedra and Tribunal worship)

Characters[edit]

Generally, I like characters specialized for intense and heavy combat, like Warriors, though I like to add Restoration as a major skill so that I can be healed. However, I also enjoy playing with stealth/combat characters, preferrably assassins (thieves get boring after a while). I have tried to make characters focusing more on magic, but I always get bored of them before I can get anywhere. Unlike my warrior characters, my mages almost never level up and therefore never gets much money or powerful loot.

All in all, my warriors are usually my best characters, who have the highest level, the best items and the most gold. However, assassins are funny too, but they level up too slow and there's little to do with them after you complete the Dark Brotherhood questline except for receiving some gold every week.

Current/Former Characters[edit]

Gorbag the Orc: My first truly successful character. Born under the Apprentice birthsign, therefore being a Battlemage-sort of class. Quickly became a Master in Conjuration, completed the main quest and entered the arcane university. Became level 25 when I got bored and deleted him (I regret that now). Status: DELETED

Rajin-Ka: Was a Soldier (custom-made warrior class) in the Black Marsh branch of the Imperial Legion until he abandoned his post at a fort to try and save a village where his clan lived from raiding Naga bandits. However, most of the villagers, including his family, was already dead when he arrived. In an act of vengeance, he brutally slaughtered the bandits without remorse, resulting in him being kicked out of the Legion. He moved to Cyrodill in a hope of repairing his mental scars. However, when walking in the Imperial City, he found a recently retired Naga bandit. Enraged, he killed the Argonian, but regretting it greatly immediately afterwards. He was arrested and imprisoned.

He agreed to follow the destiny the Emperor said he was meant for, and followed the main quest without pauses until after being tasked with finding a Daedric artifact by Martin. Then, he became obsessed with finding and obtaining rare and powerful artifacts, daedric or otherwise. Has so far obtained Volendrung, Azura's Star, Sanguine Rose (sacrificed for the ritual to open paradise) and Umbra (Azura's Star and Umbra is quite a combination :P). Became the Grand Champion of the Arena and an Associate in the Fighter's Guild at this point. Then completed the main quest in relatively quick succession. Also took over Battlehorn Castle and bought all furnishings and upgrades, and have started to familiarize with Frostcrag Spire.

Currently level 25, have just received the Blessing of Talos and become Divine Crusader in the KoTN questline, about to storm Garlas Malatar. Have also obtained full glass armor. Planning to complete the Shivering Isles questline. Also possess 200 000 or so gold, more than I've ever had before. Status: ON STANDBY

Olog gro-Lurtz: An Orc Adventurer that got into jail after raiding a Mages Guild excavation site, mistaking them for Conjurers. In jail, he was encoutered by the emperor bla bla got out bla bla, saved Martin and brought him to Cloud Ruler Temple (tried to use him and Jauffre as followers into adventuring a while, but it was too easy), and got the Blades armor at the same time. Currently wields a Steel Warhammer, planning on upgrading to Silver Battleaxe. Also has a side assignment to gather Nirnroot.

Currently Level 2. Plans on collecting all ten Ayleid Statues and complete Umbacano's two other quests, as well as gathering as much Shadowbanish wine as possible for its related quest. After that, will probably do Malacath's Daedric quest to get Volendrung, and after that enter the Shivering Isles in search for more treasures (maybe become Sheogorath and try to get closer to Malacath, or change the SI into a realm solely for Orcs to compensate for the fact that nothing can live in Malacath's Realm and because Orsinium is so small, AND/OR become the new patron of the Orcs).

(Note: Those who are fans of the LoTR series will probably notice that the name references to two things in the series: Olog from Olog-hai (the massive Wartrolls Sauron used in the Battle of Minas Tirith), and Lurtz is from the Uruk-Hai commander that was sent by Saruman to capture Frodo and the Ring, and who later killed Boromir but was slain in return by Aragorn.) Status: DELETED

Rosie the Thorn: A Nord Female Soldier of the Imperial Legion. Despite her beuty, she's a very powerful warrior and earned much respect in the Legion, participating in campaings against the Renjira Krin bandits, until the bandits used their influence to frame her for a murder, which got her thrown into jail. She escaped thanks to the emperor blabla etc.

Currently Level 2. Have reached the Path of Dawn quest in the Main Questline. Planning on having her complete the Main Quest, the Arena, the Fighter's Guild, Knights of the Nine and maybe Shivering Isles Main Quest. Status: ACTIVE

Planned/Future Characters[edit]

  • High Elf with Elven armor, Staff and Crown of Nenalata and Lindai as well as Sinweaver or Umaril's Sword. Has yet to come up with a name, though I'm considering Caeoloborn (a pun on Celeborn from LoTR). As you might guess, I wanna pretend being an Ayleid king a bit.
  • High Elf with Dwarven armor and weapons, along with as much a beard as can be made (wanna pretend to be the second last Dwemer, hiding as a High Elf :P, or perhaps a descendant of a surviving Dwemer interbreeding with altmer). Going to be Master of the Fighters Guild and then enter the Shivering Isles, and become Sheogorath, and start studying to find a way to bring back the Dwemer into the Shivering Isles (and give them a home away from the evil Dunmer/Chimer).
  • High Elf with full Bound Armor and lots of followers who'll also have bound armor, which I'll pretend to be another cult assosciated with Mehrunes Dagon and his Dremora servants, whom they honor by wearing the "sacred armors" (anybody got any good names for such a cult?). They'll also fiercely fight the Mythic Dawn, and will try to claim the Mehrunes Razor artifact to let them do so.
  • Argonian Pirate (custom class) with Dunbarrow Cove as a lair. May be a member of the Thieves Guild to build up the fortune neccessary to buy all upgrades for the Cove.
  • Khajiit/Argonian Assasin (custom) who will be Listener of the Dark Brotherhood AND Champion of Cyrodill (funny combo, eh? The savior of tamriel a cold-blooded assasin :P). Will also complete the Shivering Isles quests and become Sheogorath (I think).

Note: If anyone has any thoughts on my current or planned characters or have suggestions for stuff I could try, I'm always open for suggestions. However, I usually don't enjoy classes that focus too much on magic, so please don't suggest that. Thank you.
