古根城 gu3 gen1 cheng2 - lit. "old /ancient" "root" "city" - Elden Root

未知 wei4 zhi1 - lit. "not yet" "know/knowledge" - unknown

In this context 法 could refer to magic, see 魔法, or some form of laws (not just legally, but also in the sense of "laws of physics" kind of law). 法 could also refer to a set of teachings that promotes a certain "Way" of life, like Buddhism in real life.

White-Gold Tower[edit]

白金塔 bai2 jin1 ta3 - "White" "gold" "tower" - White-Gold Tower (fun fact 白金 in Chinese also refers to "platinum" or condolence money given at a funeral)

王权 wang2 quan2 - lit. "king" "rights" - royalty /royal authority (refers not to the rulers themselves but the throne for example)

野心 ye3 xin3 - lit. "wild" "heart" - wild ambition (this phrase actually goes beyond healthy normal "ambition" and has a bit of a negative connotation to it, usually describes someone with too much lust and desire for power and authority) (in TES, the Ayleids were also called the "Wild Elves" - wild heart might be an allusion to it, although I might be overthinking this.)

希翼 xi1 yi4 - lit. "hope for" "wings" - I think this is a typo and it should be 希冀 which means "to hope for /look forward to / hope to receive". zoom in, the characters are different but similar. "wings" as in literal flappy wings or political wings (left wing / right wing) makes no sense here.

永恒 yong3 heng2 - eternal /eternity /everlasting (figuratively also refers to death - pass into eternity) (allusion to how the orichalc tower is lost?)
