Secrets

Suvak was 15, he lived in the Imperial City with his brother Guthneen at the Luther Broad's Boarding House. Guthneen had a job as an a carrier for the Black Horse Courier, so Suvak was home a lot. Suvak was an Argonian, so he had few friends. When he was alone he would wander around the district, looking for excitement, and one abnormal day he found it. It was Sundas and everyone was at home, Suvak went outside the gates to hunts some food for dinner. "Move along, lizard scum" he heard the guards mutter. Being alone a lot Suvak had a lot of spare time and used it to train. He unslung his homemade bow and took out his enchanted arrows his brother got him for his 15th birthday. He looked at the arrows and smiled, he decided to not use them and instead picked up some branches and fashioned them into arrows. He looked around and spotted something lurking in the shadows. "Fresh meat" he whispered to himself. He took out a a one of the branches and looked for a vantage point. He nocked his bow and aimed. The creature turned around and Suvak dropped his weapon with a blank expression on his face.

The Truth

Guthneen stared at Suvak for a long moment. "Guthnee- uhhh... Guthneen, is th-th-that you?" said Suvak. "Yes my brother" replied Guthneen calmly. "What happened, what are you wearing, what is that on your hilt?" questioned Suvak. "Well, Suvak I see you have figured out I'm no carrier, I am an executioner in the Dark Brotherhood" answered Guthneen. Guthneen grabbed Suvak by his shirt collar and punched him in the jaw.

A One Time Offer

Suvak woke up a few hours later in an open room filled with swords, bows, quivers, scrolls. He saw a door at the end of the room and started walking towards it. Upon opening it he faced Guthneen, another Argonian, an Imperial and a Breton. To his left he saw two Imperials in chains that looked very familiar. "Where am I?" growled Suvak. "Calm down, your in the Chorrol Sanctuary, I'm Ormin" said the Imperial. "This is Dreemuk, a powerful mage" pointing to the Argonian, "This is Maril, the only girl I know that can go from Skingrad to Bruma in less than 2 hours" pointing to the Breton, "and I believe you know who he is" pointing to my brother. "Suvak, we are inviting you into the Dark Brotherhood, this is a one time offer" said Ormin. Suvak who was still trying to get all this information into his head, found himself nodding. "Splendid, now let's start the initiation" said Ormin.

Initiation

"In order to join, you must assassinate some in cold-blood that has not provoked you in anyway, but considering these special circumstances, all you have to do is execute these two guards from the Elven Gardens District. I think you two have met." said Dreemuk. Suvak looked at them in the eye and realized that they were the ones that he saw earlier, the ones that called him lizard scum. He shook violently, he wasn't sure what he would do. He came to the conclusion that if he didn't kill them, he would be killed, so he took out his bow and enchanted arrows. He nocked an arrow and aimed for the head. He released the arrow and the guard collapsed. He was about to draw another arrow but the dead guard exploded, killing the other guard. Suvak smiled to himself "Man, I love these arrows".

A Warm Welcome

After the initiation, Dreemuk opened a chest and took out a large stone with a fearsome orange aura. "This my friend, is a sigil stone, quite rare considering them to be found only in Oblivion" commented Dreemuk. He told Suvak to throw his bow on the floor and Suvak unwillingly did so. Dreemuk muttered a few inaudible words and the sigil stone disappeared. Suvak's bow emitted a golden glow. "I have enchanted your bow with lightning damage, as a welcome to our family" said Dreemuk. Suvak liked it here and he was not leaving the family anytime soon

First Contract

A week later...

"Ok, we have an important mission. We are to take out the leader of the Orum Gang somewhere in Cheydinhal, his name is Dulfish gro-Orum. Find him, and kill him without any living witnesses." said Ormin "Oh and one last thing, he is expecting us, so stay alert." The group, which consisted of Drumeek, Suvak, Guthneen, and Maril traveled to Cheydinhal in an hour thanks to Maril's skills. They stayed at Newlands Lodge for the night. The next day they got up and decided to find any clues to where Dulfish may be. Suvak stayed at the inn and asked the innkeeper about the town. "Hey, you new kid, you better watch yourself. Rumor has it that the abandoned house, ya know the one near Ganredhel's place is where tha-" The innkeeper fell on the floor with a mean-looking dagger sticking out of her neck.
