UESP Server Problems

Since 5pm PST Friday, December 8, UESP has been experiencing severe problems with its server, which has resulted in the web site being completely unavailable most of the time. We are critically aware of the problem, we are fairly certain that we know what is causing the problem, and we are working to fix it. At the moment, we are only able to implement a temporary fix, that allows access to the site for at most two hours at a time, during which time response will get slower and slower, until the site is effectively unavailable any more. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will provide an update once a more longterm solution has been implemented. How long it will take to fix the problem is currently unknown and out of our control: it could be fixed in 15 minutes, it could still take a few more days.
