Lord General,

I approach you in writing on a matter which I believe is important to the Empire's and the Legion's interests in the Vvardenfell District. Fort Waxmoth (near the village of Vos) has been targeted by Telvanni sabotage. Several cells in the fort's dungeons have collapsed and a great number of our supplies have gone missing. Construction work of two new guard towers has been completely halted. I believe that Telvanni agents and the magical roots of their mushroom towers are to blame. The captain of the fort, however, doesn't share my belief -- for what reason, I do not know.

In addition, the captain has contracted a contingent of mercenaries led by one Turedus Talanian. It's not my place to second-guess the captain, but the more disciplined and more loyal Legion soldiers would definitely make myself and my workers feel more safe. If there is any way that you could spare us even a handful of your men, we would be infinitely grateful.

The Telvanni are making us nervous and I'm afraid that this nervousness isn't unfounded.
