Aquilinius is an Imperial warrior and a Journeyman of the Blades who can be found guarding the entrance to the Blades living quarters on the top floor of the Palace High Chambers in Ebon Tower in Old Ebonheart. He can provide training to other members in Block, Long Blade and Medium Armor, and said training can reach very high levels.

For protection, he wears an Imperial dragonscale cuirass, an Imperial dragonscale helm, a set of Imperial dragonscale greaves, a pair of Imperial dragonscale boots, a pair of Imperial steel gauntlets, a pair of Imperial steel pauldrons, and a gold armor buckler. For clothing, he wears a common shirt, an Imperial belt, and an Imperial skirt. He wields a Fiend Katana.

Aside from his natural charm and ability to absorb fatigue from others, he knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greeting:

If you are a member of the Blades:

"Hello there, %PCRank. %Name, at your service."
  • Background:

If you are a member of the Blades:

"I'm %Name of the Blades. I was stationed here to lead the fight against the Blight and to help contain the Corprus crisis on Vvardenfell."

If you have destroyed Dagoth Ur:

"I'm %Name of the Blades. I was stationed here to lead the fight against the Blight and to help contain the Corprus crisis on Vvardenfell, but I'm sure I'll be recalled soon. You have the Empire's eternal thanks for what you've done."
  • my trade:
"We've had an increasing number of strange reports from Vvardenfell, and I've been looking into the issue from here, but to really get at the heart of the problem, I've requested permission to actually visit the island."

If you have destroyed Dagoth Ur:

"Everyone's talking about what you've accomplished on Vvardenfell. You've made my position here superfluous. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I'm looking forward to getting to return to the Imperial City."

Blades Trainers[edit]

  • Blades Trainers:
"Yes, I can train you. And offer a suggestion. Stick to a single weapon and armor style until you are proficient at them. Improving your skills will be harder if you keep changing your focus. When you are confident in your skill in one discipline, you can then pick up another. And whatever you do, make sure your equipment is in good condition. Disrepair can render even the toughest ebony armor useless. Here, you can have some of my repair tools." (You receive a Journeyman's Armorer's Hammer and a set of Repair Prongs)
"Yes, I offer training, but only to Blades."
