The following tables list new spell effects added by Tamriel Data. As the number of magical effects in Morrowind is hard-coded into the game engine, you will need to use MWSE to utilize these effects. There are tentative plans to port these to OpenMW at some time in the future.

Alteration Effects[edit]

Alteration effects manipulate the physical world and its natural properties. They include water breathing and walking, jumping, levitating, burdening, opening and locking, and creating shield barriers against physical damage.

The Alteration effects added by Tamriel Data allow for creating a radiant shield.

Conjuration Effects[edit]

Conjuration effects include the mental domination of mundane and magical creatures, summoning of otherworldly weapons and armor as well as Daedric or undead servants, all to serve and protect the caster.

The Conjuration effects added by Tamriel Data allow you to summon a host of new equipment and creatures.

The pauldrons appear automatically equipped on the caster, displacing any currently equipped shoulder armor to inventory. When the effect ends, the pauldrons disappear and automatically re-equip any previously equipped shoulder armor. 2

Destruction Effects[edit]

Destruction effects harm living and undead creatures, and include elemental damage, draining, damaging, vulnerability, and disintegration magical effects.

Currently, Tamriel Data does not add any new Destruction spell effects.

Illusion Effects[edit]

Illusion effects alter the perceptions and thoughts of living subjects. Illusion effects include blind, light, paralyze, silence, calm or frenzy, chameleon, and invisibility.

TD3-icon-effect-Distract Creature.png Distract Creature This effect compels a creature to wander away from their current position while attempting to keep their distance from the caster. The effect's magnitude is the maximum distance that the target can travel and the effect cannot be casted again on the target while it is active. Using this effect will fail if the target is aware of the caster's presence. When the effect ends, the target begins to return to their original location and cannot be distracted again until they do. 0.5
TD3-icon-effect-Distract Humanoid.png Distract Humanoid This effect compels a person to wander away from their current position while attempting to keep their distance from the caster. Mysticism Effects[edit]

Mysticism effects shape and focus otherworldly forces to bind souls in gems, teleport the caster’s body, manipulate the world with telekinesis, absorb, or reflect magical energies, or sense unseen objects at a distance.

The Mysticism effects added by Tamriel Data allow for the banishing of Daedra, detecting humanoids, gaining insight when harvesting, passing through solid objects, teleporting to Kyne's shrines, and reflecting physical damage.

TD3-icon-effect-Banish Daedra.png Banish Daedra Banishes any daedra that the spell is cast upon, if the target is of sufficiently low level compared to the spell's magnitude. TD3-icon-effect-Passwall.png Passwall In an indoor area, this effect permits the caster to pass through a solid barrier to a vacant space behind it. The effect will fail if the destination beyond the traversed barrier is filled with water, is blocked by a forcefield, sigil gate, or ward, or lies above or below the caster. 750
TD3-icon-effect-Reflect Damage.png Reflect Damage This effect allows the subject to reflect physical damage back at an attacker. The effect's magnitude is the percent damage that will be reflected for each attack. Any unreflected damage is dealt to the defender normally. 20

Restoration Effects[edit]

Restoration effects heal, restore, and fortify the body’s attributes and abilities, cure disease, and protect it from other malign influences. They can also augment or absorb strength, endurance, intelligence, agility, and other bodily attributes.

The Restoration effects added by Tamriel Data allow you to restore your armor or weapons durability.
