Possibly glitched location?[edit]

In my travels I had often ran across a man named Legate Quentin Cipius, standing between what appears to be two ancient Nordic pillars with a sort of rough cobblestone ground. I wanted to find this "Whiterun Imperial Camp", but I could not locate it. Cipius stands at this location all day long, since the beginning of the game. I have searched East of Rorikstead for days "game days", going as far North as Talking Stone Camp, as far East as Swindler's Den, and as far South as Gjukar's Monument. There simply isn't any "Whiterun Imperial Camp" here. If I go any farther East, I run into Redoran's Retreat, Fort Greymoor, Bleakwind Basin, and finally Whiterun. Will this camp only load during the course of the Imperial / Stormcloak storyline?— Unsigned comment by 50.103.46.55 (talk) at 04:53 on 30 December 2011

I also cannot find this. I had problems with the imperial hjaalmarch and reach, and I noticed that when I was where the camp was supposed to be, there was a wood chopping block. So I was in the right place... I'm thinking that this might have something to do with the patch, as I cannot seem to discover any new camps.— Unsigned comment by Jazstar (talkcontribs) at 21:18 on 1 March 2012
Imperial Camps do not appear in the holds owned by the Imperial Legion. When you take over Whiterun Hold for the Stormcloaks, the Imperial camp appears and the Whiterun Stormcloak Camp disappears. It's the other way around for the holds originally controlled by the Stormcloaks. Wolok gro-Barok 21:32, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
