Misspelled Category[edit]

I'm not sure how to change it, but this page is under Skyrim:Places:Standing Stoness. Obvious typo. Chunk of Ham 22:08, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

It's fixed. The problem was type=Standing Stones, it should be type=Standing Stone. Thanks for spotting it. Wolok gro-Barok 22:39, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

Archery as Stealth[edit]

I just noticed someone added (verification needed) to the statement in the article about Archery being considered a stealth skill in the context of these stones, which was reverted soon afterward with the edit summary "see Notes section". Maybe my eyes are bugging out on me... but there's no notes section.

So, to help out the user who might look for a nonexistent Notes section... there's a long discussion about this issue here, but basically the short story of it is, it's been verified in game data. Archery is considered a combat skill in all other categories except the standing stones and certain fortify potions. See this page for a nice little table detailing any in-game discrepancies between skills and their main classes. Alphabetface 06:15, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

I think the fact about Archery being helped by the Thief Stone and not by Warrior Stone should be added back to this page. So many people have wrong idea about this. I'm not going to make the edit myself because I'm new here. --Abacus707 00:44, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
It is already/still on the page. See the end of the second paragraph: "Archery is considered a stealth skill in this context." ABCface 01:43, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
Thank you. It's strange that I didn't notice that line before. --Abacus707 03:47, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

Random Event Spawn point Nearby these stones[edit]

Ive had a random encounter on both of my characters at this spot, one was faendal's hired thugs sent to kill me. One was 2 necromancers traveling up the road. Has anyone else had experiences like this here. If so I think It should be included in the Notes section.Kee-Tay (talk) 21:08, 29 October 2012 (GMT)Kee-Tay

Its been a while, Im gunna add it properly I confirmed it with a few tests. — Unsigned comment by Kee-Tay (talkcontribs) at 00:43 on 30 October 2012
It's only been 3 hours. There are 149 spawn points that are currently being checked and verified by another editor. I don't feel that adding each one to it's nearest location is a good idea. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 00:50, 30 October 2012 (GMT)
i strongly beleive that is a good idea, I think a player would like to know if hes gunna get jumped fast traveling there or not.Kee-Tay (talk) 16:32, 31 October 2012 (GMT)Keetay
The spawn point is nearby, not at the stones, otherwise I would have been encountering people when using this place to get the trophy for finding 13 stones. So you won't be "jumped" here, just nearby, if you walk that direction. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 16:39, 31 October 2012 (GMT)
In the title it says nearby. I guess we should just wait until the person you said working on the spawnpoints locates them all then see what else we could do with it.Kee-Tay (talk) 19:21, 1 November 2012 (GMT)Kee-Tay

Hadvar/Ralof doesn't go past Guardian Stones[edit]

With every new game I start, Hadvar/Ralof doesn't lead me to the guardian stones but instead goes off the road to the right after pointing out Bleak Falls Barrow and goes to Riverwood past the entrance to Embershard Mine. I can't think what actions on the player's part make this happen, since it's so early in the game. Has anyone else experienced this? — Unsigned comment by Norowane (talkcontribs) at 08:23 on 2 December 2012‎

Every single new game this happens for me, if you activate him as he gets to that corner he will turn and head to the stones. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 14:54, 2 December 2012 (GMT)
